Effect: Any non-machine monster attacking this card
will be destroyed on the 3rd turn after it attacked
Fear this card for it is possibly the best card in
the game... just kidding. Its quite useless unless
it can be mastered and used with good effect. This
monster is very weak, it can only ever be used for
its effect and should never be used to attack
without a lot of help. So how do you use this card
well? As you can imagine, with 6 cards in hand and
many monsters sitting in their deck, this wont scare
many duelists at the start of the game and that is
why it has to be saved up for later use.
If you can play this when they are drawing the
remainder of their monsters then you will find steel
scorption invaluable. Its an undercharged Man eater
Bug some people say! - no, don't forget this is an
active effect, it can be used over and over again
providing you can keep it alive and healthy with the
use of equipment cards and waboku.
It is essentialy a stall card, helping you to buy
some time until you can get a working combo ready
and you should never build a deck around the effect
of this card but use it to aid the combos you need.
Advantages: after 3 turns they loose their attacking
monster, nice.. but you have to make sure that its
going to be applied to a card they cant tribute or
one they will hate to do without.
Disdvantages: 3 turns is a long time, sure you can
last will this card in, set it as a stall card but
can 3 turns buy you enough time?
Useful combo cards: Swords of Revealing Light, gain
the effect from one of their attacks and sit back to
watch their monster die!.. Last Will, summon it in
defence mode, shielding you from any direct attacks
and possibly buying you some more time,... Waboku,
allow them to attack and then keep your monster
around for a second helping!
Example Play: Your both getting low on cards, you
have this a SORL and a waboku in your hand. Play it
as a set, allow them to attack with their Lagin or 7
fish and watch them get tearful when you flip the
Waboku. Next turn, play a Swords of Revealing Light,
watch their monster die knowing that even when your
swords die, they cant attack your Scorpion without
suffering the same penalty
