Tuesday - Tremendous
Fire
Tremendous Fire
is a Magic card which deals 1000 damage to your
opponent's life points while doing 500 to your life
points.
Tremendous Fire
works great in Direct Damage decks (Of course), 1000
damage right off the bat with such a minor drawback is
excellent.
When you think of it,
it's pretty much like half a Dark Elf (For a
turn). Except for the fact the damage cannot be
stopped unless the complete card is countered (Magic
Jammer, Solemn Judgment, ect.).
Then there's Dian
Keto. Not many people play it, but it is somewhat
a counter to Tremendous Fire.
The great part about Tremendous
Fire is that there are so many cards to
compliment it. Princess of Tsurgi, Cannon
Soldier, and Just Desserts to name a
few.

Not really _that_ great
but a decent card that belongs in Direct Damage decks

Tue- Trem. Fire
Tremendous Fire is a
direct damage magic card, obviously. Only suited
for direct damage decks. It is, the crème of the
crop, however, dealing 1000 damage, with a minor
cost of 500 to you. Having 3 of these and three
Ookazi will take away 67% of your opponent’s LP
with magic cards alone. That’s pretty darn good,
since there’s no way to stop them currently.
Add in the fact that
they can’t stop Cannon Soldiers or Catapult
Turtles and they could have a hard time stopping
you from depleting their LP. You could even go as
far as using Rainbow Flowers and Robbin’ Goblins
with Cannon Soldiers. That’s 900 LP damage,
since they can’t block Rainbow’s attack and
you can use Cannon’s effect right afterwards.
Add in a Goblin and they lose a card during the
mess, too!
Rating: 2.5/5 It
sucks by itself, but with the right deck…

A lot of cards in
different TCGs are all-purpose, and the same can
definitely be said for Yu-Gi-Oh!. However, there are
many cards in all TCGs that have very specific uses in
very specific decks, and lose effectiveness when
played outside of those decks. Tremendous Fire is a
card that works very well in a Burner (direct damage)
deck, but in other decks, it wastes space. However,
it's not necessarily a bad card, just not great.
The card itself is
highly efficient. For half the damage, you can do
1000. 1000 may not seem like terribly much, but it
does add up in conjunction with other cards, which is
indeed why burners can be so fast and devastating.
Granted, this card by itself doesn't do much in the
way of horrible damage. Also, it should noted that it
really doesn't belong in normal beatdown decks. It
slows it and wastes space. Keep this card to defensive
decks.
Not much in the way of
combos for this card. It's pretty simple. Use it with
other direct damage cards, and you'll be a force to be
reckoned with. For the small kickback damage, Dian
Keto can be used, but definitely isn't
reccomended, considering how many other much better
cards can be played, not to mention the cost is, as
mentioned earlier, a small one.

Not good by itself, but excellent in burners.
Definitely use it in one, but never a beatdown or
Exodia deck.
