Morphing Jar
The new Ultra Rare from TP2! Flip: Both player discard
their hand and draw 5 cards. This is like a weakened
version of Cyber Jar. You don't get the Dark Hole
effect and you don't get to Special Summon any of the
Level 4 or lower monsters.
Though that might sound bad at first, you have to look
at the positive points. First of all, Morphing Jar
won't really backfire on you if you didn't get any
Monsters while your opponent does. This is critical if
you play a low amount of Level 4 or lower monsters. If
you flipped it during your turn, you get to use your
fresh hand first, which is really good.
If you play Deck Destruction, this card is a must
since you can re-use all of the Jars (Morphing Jar,
Morphing Jar #2, and Cyber Jar) over and over again
with The Shallow Grave and Spear Cretin.
Overall, this is a really good card, but it's even
better in the right deck. The problem is getting it
in the first place... -_-;

Morphling Jar -- Tuesday
Introduction: Discard your hand! HaHaHa! I draw 5 bran
new cards mwahhaha!
Earth/Rock-Effect/2/700/600
FLIP: Both you and your opponent discard all cards in
your hands and draw
five cards from your respective Decks.
Why should you use it?
*Draw 5 cards
*Discard cards
Why shouldn't you use it?
*Lose cards
*Oppenet get better draw
Reasons: Back after a long weekend (well not really,
just seems like it). We
look at our second infamous Ultra Rare in Tournament
Packs 2 (Yes, that's 1
in 108 packs of getting this card). This card gives
you a brand new hand of
5. So if you have zero cards in hand, it's really all
gain for you. Also,
with the "discarding" effect, this is a nice counter
for those "combo" decks
that hold cards in hand, waiting for something and
always, the infamous
Exodia. With every good cards comes it's downside.
When you discard cards
with that effect, it can hurt, because you might have
those good cards in
your hand. Also, there is also a better chance that
your opponent will get
better cards than you. This basicaly means your a
roast turkey (still taste
those Turkeys?).
Rating: Not a bad card, a very neat card, but what are
the odds that you
would be playing one of these? Unless you have the $$$
to get it. Well, this
card would get a 3.3. It's very good, but sometimes,
this would just help
your opponent more than it will help you.
Conclusion: I wouldn't play with a $150 card in my
life. =/

Morphing Jar
Today we look at morphing jar, the ultra rare from the
season 2 tournament packs. This monster force both
players to discard their hands and draw 5 cards.
This card is the reason card destruction got limited
to 1. It's much better than card destruction in my
opinion. With this card, you can play all the cards
from your hand, and then get a new hand, something you
cant do with Definitelytely a must in the deck
destruction decks since Card Destruction got cut to 1.
For maximum effect, try a giant trunade + cards
destruction, + morphing jar. You can really cut into
the opponent's deck.
I give this card a 4/5. You should consider putting
this in your deck even if you dont have a deck
destruction deck since this provides very good drawing
opportunity. |

Morphing Jar
This card has the potential to be abused just like any
other card that allows you to draw cards and it could
work wonders in a deck that tries to run your opponent
out of cards. The bad thing about it is that it's a
Flip effect and there is just so much Flip hate in the
environment.
The other thing about it is that in order to make him
playable in a deck archetype that tries to run your
opponent out of cards you need 3 of him and that'll be
a lil hard to get.
For all it's worth the card looks really cool but
that's about it. If you're not a collector you
probably don't like this card and eBay is about to
become your best friend. ^_<

Morphing Jar
TP2-001 (Ultra Rare)
Earth/Rock-Effect/2/700/600
FLIP: Both you and your opponent discard all cards in
your hands and draw five cards from your respective
Decks.
Just like TP1, the best
card in the set is the Ultra Rare. And also just like
TP1, the Ultra Rare is one in every 108 packs. The
good part about Morphing Jar being the Ultra Rare is
the fact that it's restricted to one. That way if you
get lucky and pull/buy one, you won't need anymore.
Rarity aside, Morphing
Jar is a very playable card. Having two ways to come
back from what may be a loss is always a good
thing (Morphing Jar & Cyber Jar).
A few combos you can
accomplish via Morphing Jar are with Solemn Wishes and
Appropriate. Solemn Wishes with Morphing Jar will gain
you 2500 LP while Appropriate with Morphing Jar will
give you plenty of options (Though make sure not to
deck out).
Of course, Morphing Jar
is best played when you have no cards in your hand and
your opponent has a hand full of cards.

Monday (or is it
Tuesday? :/) - Morphing Jar
I want this card.
Seriously, I do. I think Upper Deck should die a
horrid, horrid death for making this a Tournament
Pack Ultra Rare. Once again, there's only one
really, really good card, and it's the Ultra Rare
(no knocks against Giant Red Seasnake
and the Fusion-substitute monsters, but
Mechanicalchaser and Morphing Jar have a
major impact on the game).
How can you not like
this card? Well, your opponent gets 5 new cards
too, so that could be a problem. But hey, if you
have Imperial Order to protect
against Magics, and White Magical Hat
to clear out their hand next turn, who's
complaining? :/ Besides, it speeds the game up, and
for those that run speedy decks (Megamorph
users, listen), you can win :\
Score:
4.0
Oh well, looks like I'm
going to have to trade some of my Secret/Ultra Rares
to get this card... :/

Morphing Jar - TP2 - Ultra
Rare
Such a sick card. Good thing its limit 1 per deck and
an Ultra rare promo cos if everyone had this one you'd
see it almost everywhere. Its flip effect can easily
turn the game around big time. Drawing 5 cards is
where its at. It can mean the game for you. You can
also kill off your opponents hand and make them draw a
new 5 which doesnt sound good but, if you grab
delinquent duo you can screw over their plans. Not to
mention they lose all those nice cards they had in
their hand. If you get one of these either sell it or
use it. Its good either way.
