Friday - The Fiend
Megacyber
Today we look at the fiend megacyber. The effect says
that it can be summoned without tribute if the
opponent has 2 more monsters than you do. It can also
be summoned normally, but using the effect to summon
it makes it a special summon.
Sure, at first the effect looks great and you can
special summon him basically for free if you satisfy
the conditions, but what it comes down to is that you
can summon this mediocre attack monster when your back
is against the wall. Usually, when the opponent has 2
more monsters than you, it means that he's wiped your
field clear of your monsters and he's got an army
waiting to slaughter your LP directly. In this case,
summoning him as a special summon could be helpful,
and you may be able to take out one of his monsters,
but when you were that far behind, 2200 attack
probably isn't going to cut it. If they made it just a
few hundred ATK points higher, like at 2500, then this
card would be a lot better since it can then go head
to head with a summoned skull, which will probably be
on the field when you are behind in the game.
I give it a 3/5. It probably wont hurt you that much
to try it out in yourkind of.in between kinda
inbetween on this card. Toss it into your deck and
experiment to see if it works. If it doesn't, like I
would expect, take it out.

The Fiend Megacyber
Hmmm... so this guy's effect only works if your
opponent is kicking your head in eh? Which brings up
the point that if I'm planning to use this guy when
I'm in the most important phase, deck building. I have
to be planning to let my opponent have board control
so I can use this guy's effect, so he can be trapped
holed or countered in one of some many ways and I'll
get hit yet another time by at least two Monsters.
The last thing I can say about this guy is that
nothing makes me happier than seeing my opponent play
with him in their deck. >;-)

Friday - The Fiend Megacyber
OK, this card is kind of confusing, so here's what I
interpret it as:
If your opponent controls at least 2 more
monsters on the field than you, you can Normal
Summon this monster without offering any Tributes.
So basically, this card is only good if you're stuck
in a hole. It's a fairly good comeback card, but
Goblin Attack Force still runs all
over it :/ You could combo this card with
Limiter Removal, but it's a Warrior-type
-_-
Use it for trade-bait.
