Friday - Big Eye
Big Eye reads: FLIP:
See the top 5 cards from the top of your Deck, arrange
them in any order desired, and replace them onthe top
of the Deck.
Big Eye is a fairly
interesting card with a unique ability. It's best
purpose, in my opinion, serves in Exodia based decks.
With 2/2/2-3 Sangan,
Witch of the Black Forest and Big Eye, you can pull
off Exodia much smoother. Big Eye is best used while
attacked in Reverse Defense Mode. This allows you to
control what you draw on your very next turn after
your opponent finishes.
Always Make sure to
make the best possible arrangement with Big Eye,
because as soon as it's done you won't beable to
change it unless you have another Big Eye.
Rating: 2.3/5
Really only shines in
heavy Exodia based decks.

Fri- Big Eye
Last CotD pick for me.
;-;
Oh well, this card is
THE MOST UNDERRATED CARD IN THE GAME.
No, I am NOT joking.
This card WILL save you
if you can play it correctly. It is the PokeDex for
Yu gi oh.
…
Stop laughing! This card
pwnz anything and everything when used correctly!
(And don’t listen to Zap. He’s a liar. >=O )
Upon flippage, you look
and REARRANGE the top five cards in your deck. That
monster reborn WAS five turns away, not it is next
turn! Ohh, looky here. I have a Pot of Greed coming
up… That means I can pick my next two cards to
draw… Oh geez! My next monster was four cards
away! At least I can bring him up sooner…
It WILL save you. But
you MUST play it correctly. How? Well, I can’t
tell you. -_- It varies from game to game so
frequently… Besides, not even I can properly use
it at times. =\
Just remember, if
you’re debating weather or not to bump a monster
before a Magic, bump the monster. Your opponent has
a Raigeki waiting for you. -_-
Oh and if THEY use this,
draw and only set a m/t, move all but one of your
monsters into defense mode; they drew Mirror Force.
=P
Rating: 4.8/5 Big Eye
= Draw Power and Control in one. Plus the attack r
not bad. >_>;;

have been gone for quite a
bit, yes. Heart surgery for my grandpa takes
precendence over the internet, but, I have returned,
for better or for worse. We've had very interesting
cards, and I would've loved to review them, but, I was
unable to. Anyway, on to the card of the day. This one
is my favorite cards. That'd be Big Eye.
The potential it has is unbelievable, and it is quite
the weird fact that it was overlooked until a couple
weeks or so after the release of Metal Raiders. All is
well, however, because Big Eye is getting the respect
it deserves. Nay, the respect is demands. This
card is gamebreaking, and creates aspects of the
game not otherwise seen. At least not as dominating!
What's the best part of
Big Eye? Its effect lowers the luck exponentially. In
Pokémon, this was known as the Pokédex, and it
sucked. Why? The ratio of cards was higher, and the
draw power simply made arranging a meager five cards
not necessary. However, in Yu-Gi-Oh!, decks are much
smaller. This means you have a much higher chance
of drawing a gamewinning card in the next five turns.
There are a couple basic skills in this game. Lowering
luck, so that you can be consistent free of your
draws, and conserving your hand and limiting your
opponent's. Obviously, Big Eye deals with the former.
It completely eliminates draw luck for five turns,
granted that you have strong cards throughout your
deck, and do not use useless cards. That power is
amazing, and worth a place in ANY deck.
There's also
skill in how you arrange the five cards. It may seem
obvious that you'll want that Raigeki, but perhaps
you'd best get other cards before it. It adds a
tremendous skill level into the game definitely not
otherwise experienced. Consistency wins, and being
consistent requires controlling your luck. For me,
enough praise for this card can never be achieved. The
stats, on the other hand, are, well, bad for a level
four. However, they are definitely not bad
for an effect monster. Quite to the contrary, they are
quite good for an effect monster. Of course, combat
with other monsters will usually result in failure,
but it is good for a good direct damage hit.
The combinations of
cards for this guy is...incredible. Afraid of using
that Card Destruction? See what'll come up, and then
use it if it's worthwhile. With Pot of Greed, it's
still incredible. Draw two cards that you specifically
choose. It combos extremely well with every single
card, or near to it. It is simply a beast when you get
to plan your future strategy, and your opponent is
left with few options.
Rambling on seems to be
what I am quite capable of, but, again, this is a
truly great card that should never be overlooked. For
serious combat, it is INCREDIBLE. High levels of skill
will be displayed, and any boost to the overall luck
aspects (though with Big Eye it does become skill, not
luck) will basically make it quite certain of your
victory. In casual play, it's quite fun to use, simply
because it looks cool and has an amusing effect.
Rating: 4.9
- The stats aren't perfect, but that is definitely not
what it should be used for. Big Eye can be absolutely
broken with a skilled player. Use it in all your
decks, if you have room - controlling luck can never
hurt...you.
