Well now it is day two of what I like to call fun card week... Lets see what todays fun card is.

Dian Keto Cure Master
Tourney Play: 1.75
Casual Play: 3.5

Pros:
-It Heals you

Cons:
-Wastes space.
-1000 Lp isn't that much.
-La jinn and neo and battle ox make this card useless.

RFP: This card only has one pro, that pro is healing your life points. Its just one of those cards that has one purpose. So lets move on...

RFC: The problem with fun cards is that they waste space for other cards we need. Instead of adding waboku you could add this. I think I'll take waboku....=/ Also 1000 LP isn't very helpful I mean one attack from almost any mon can beat that small sum of life. I have noticed a pattern in tcgs. People that are new to the game tend to put healing cards in there deck, but then they find out its useless. Listen to any new people in tcgs. HEALING IS ALMOST ALWAYS USELESS! And finally popular cards like lajinn the mystical genie, neo the magic swordsman, and almost any other mon can make that -1000 attack to -700 in your life points.

Combos:

Ultimate offerings +Dian keto: Summon two more mons and ya don't lose any lp

Thieves Pocket Knife + dian keto: Thieves pocket knife doesn't come out till metal raiders, but it allows you to negate a trap card for the cost of 1000 LP so with dian keto you negate a trap card for free.

Remember people our lesson of the day is what? *everyone shouts HEALING IS USELESS*  Well I am glad it is starting to stick in.... :) good luck and happy dueling.... METAL RAIDERS COMES OUT soon :) sorry just had to add that....

Tuesday - Dian Keto the Cure Master

Gain 1000 life points. Big deal. Alot of the good monsters do more than that in one attack, it won't be winning games for you often. It is an improvement over Red Medicine though, which isn't saying much.

In a casual deck this card could be pretty decent, but aren't most cards?

If you really wanted to try something different, you could play a stall deck with three of these packed in there. It won't affect gameplay much, but it does help you somewhat stall.

As you can see, I'm not a big fan of this card. To me it's 'just another card'.

Rating: 1.5/5

Dian Keto the Cure Master gives you 1000 lp. Well, that does SEEM like a lot, but it isn’t. This card’s main use is to be defensive right? Well, you CAN restore 1000 lp OR prevent 1600+ with Waboku. Your choice. Only real use is with Stall Decks but those are… well eh to say the least. This card is as about as useful as Mysterious Puppeteer, which is not much =/

Rating: 1.1/5 - …Yay… =/

Overall Score: 2.5 (strictly average)
Casual Play: 2.0
Tournament Play: 3.0

1000 free LP with no additional side effects.  In certain situations, this can be a life saver.  In other situations, it doesn't really matter.  There's not much more that can be said about this card =/

Combos:

Dian Keto + Ultimate Offering = Get two free uses.

Counters:

Well, if your opponent is about to destroy you with more than 1000 LP overkill, this won't help you =/

Casual Play:
Not really needed here.

Tournament Play:
It couldn't hurt to sideboard a couple, especially if you are using a defensive deck.  If your opponent can't penetrate your defenses, 1000 more LP to destroy will make them cry.

Verdict:
Very situational.  Sometimes, it's a gamewinner, other times it's just dead weight.

Metal Raiders:
This thing gives you a free attack with Dark Elf, but, like all other Magic cards, falls to Magic Jammer.  Fear.

TOMORROW'S COTD: Sogen.  Battle Ox's field of choice.

The most game-breaking card in the entire set, Dian Keto the Cure Master! Well, not really. Actually, this card is somewhat mediocre. However, for such a mediocre card, it sees lots of play (among less skilled players). Why is it mediocre? 1000 life points mean very little. The game is rarely decided by 1000 points.

Of course, Dian Keto does have some use; it's not totally terrible. If you get two or three, you have a lot of life points back. Even then, though, this card can be drawed when something else is desperately needed, like if you have no monsters on the field. You draw Dian Keto, use it, and they attack with La Jinn the Mystical Genie of the Lamp, and you have a net loss of 800 life points, and still no monster on the field.

If your deck is competitive, save room for better, more usable cards - you just need speed, and can't be slowed down. If you just wanna relax and have casual matches, I suppose this could be a good card to use. Also, it's always fun to laugh when you beat your opponent by more than 8000 life points.

My rating is a 2.5 - It can come in handy, but usually won't. Save room for better cards if you want to win.
