Say hello to Man-Eater
Bug's little brother. Instead of destroying a
monster, you send a monster of your choice back to
your hand. This can be good or bad.
Instead of destroying a
card like BEWD, thus leaving it open to be revived,
you can send it back to their hand, making it harder
to replay.
It could also be bad, as
that face-down card you send back is a Man-Eater
Bug. They can activate their effect,
destroying Hane-Hane, then just come back and be
able to use the effect again.
Combos:
Hane-Hane + Man-Eater
Bug = Flip summon your Man-Eater Bug, destroying an
opposing monster, then flip summon your Hane-Hane,
sending Man-Eater Bug back to your hand.
Lather, rinse, repeat.
Hane-Hane + opposing
Lord of D. = You have one turn to deal with those
pesky Dragons.
Counters:
Monster destruction =
Wow, real hard guess =/
Casual Play:
Not a bad card.
It's not really worth using this card over another
possible Man-Eater Bug/Wall of Illusion, but if you
have an open space or two in your deck, these little
guys may be useful. Beware the low stats,
however.
Tournament Play:
Not that bad here
either. Once again, Man-Eater Bug/Wall of
Illusion may be a more worthwhile card, but if you
have an open spot or are playing a monster
removal-heavy deck, this guy always helps out.
Verdict:
This guy is a
tournament-playable card, but don't use it over a
possible Man-Eater Bug/Wall of Illusion.
