Friday - Chain Destruction
Normal Trap
You can activate this card when a monster with an ATK
of 2000 points or less is summoned (including Special
Summon). This monster is not destroyed, but all
Monster Cards of the same name in the summoning
player's hand and Deck are destroyed. The summoning
player's Deck is then shuffled.
In my opinion, Chain
Destruction works best as a side deck card. Side it in
if your opponent attempts to counter your deck with
some specific Monsters. Besides using it in your side
deck, I'm not all convinced it is worth playing.
Pretty much the only
deck I can see this working in is Deck Depletion. Even
then, I wouldn't consider it as a top-notch card for
the deck. Taking 2 or less Monsters from your
opponent's deck isn't that big of a deal.
Chain Destruction isn't
going to do you any good if your opponent is bashing
you in the head with an army of Monsters. Sure it will
destroy a couple Monsters, but none that are important
at that point in time.
