Friday - Toon Summoned Skull
Today we look at our first toon, Toon Summoned Skull.
A couple rulings on toons I should explain first.
1. To summon any toon, you must have toon world in
play
2. All toons are considered special summon, but you
still have to tribute to bring them out if they
require one
3. since they are special summon, you cant set toons,
but you can get them facedown with darkness approaches
If you really want to build a toon deck right now,
this is definitely required in your deck as I think
this is the best toon around. It's pretty hard
to
make one right now as all the required ones are pretty
expensive and rather rare. Since toons keep the
same
stats as their regular counterpart, it isn't
surprising this is a good card. Summoned Skull
is one
of the best tribute monster in the game. 1
tribute
for 2500 is awesome. And if you can protect your
toon
with some magic jammers, dealing 2500 direct damage
every turn will clinch the game in no time.
I give this card a 4.5/5. Note that this rating
is
only for toon decks. If your playing a toon
deck,
play this card.

In the right deck, he'll end the game in about 4 turns
or less. If they can't disrupt Toon World, this
guy is dishin' death on turn 2 and doesn't stop until
they're dead. I like him - just keep your stuff
from getting picked off of disrupted and it's all
good.

Toon Summoned Skull -- Friday
Introduction: I get to attack your Life Points
directly ha!
Dark
[Fiend/Toon]
Lv 6
2500/1200
This card cannot be summoned unless "Toon
World" is on the field. This card
cannot attack in the same turn that it is summoned.
Pay 500 Life Points each
time this monster attacks. When "Toon World"
is destroyed, this card is
destroyed. If your opponent doesn't control a Toon
monster on the field,
this card may inflict Direct Damage to your opponent's
Life Points. If a
Toon monster is on the your opponent's side of the
field, your attack must
target the Toon monster.
Why should you use it?
*Act life points directly
*One of the best toons
Why shouldn't you use it?
*Tribute Monster
*A toon
Reasons: Today we look at one of the infamous toon
cards , Toon Summoned
Skull. This critter packs the same power as the
regular Summoned Skull from
Metal Raiders, except it it in Toon version. Well many
of you know that it's
attacks life points directly which is good. This card
is one of the best
toons, probably being tied with Toon Mermaid. Though
it is a whooping 2500,
it is a tribute monster which will hurt due to how
much kill spells in
today's environment. Also since it's a toon, Toon
World needs to be out,
which makes things even harder to bring out. With so
many kill spells, no
wonder toons aren't that great.
Rating: You will see this card maybe used in free
play, but not a tournament
wise deck. This card is good, but I would give it a
2.5. Since it's a
tribute monster and a toon.
Conclusion: I see Toon Summoned Skull going to his
book, but will stay their
permanently and the book will never open again. Never
seeing the day of
light ever again.

Friday - Toon Summoned Skull
Toon
Summoned Skull
This card cannot be summoned unless "Toon
World" is on the field. This card cannot attack
in the same turn that it is summoned. Pay 500 life
points each time this monster attacks. When "Toon
World" is destroyed, this card is destroyed. If
your opponent doesn't control a Toon monster on the
field, this card may inflict Direct Damage to your
opponent's Life Points. If a Toon Monster is on your
opponent's side of the field, your attacks must target
the Toon Monster.
Personally, I dislike Toons.
Here's why:
1. Cost 1000 LP to bring Toon
World into play.
2. Cost 500 LP to play a Toon.
3. Toon's can't attack the turn they come into play.
Thus giving your opponent a turn to deal with it.
4. A simple Heavy Storm or Mystical Space
Typhoon acts as a Raigeki towards Toons.
That right there is just too many drawbacks for me
to play with. The few points I do like about Toons are
that:
1. Abuses the HELL out of Megamorph with all that
LP loss.
2. Attacks opponent directly unless they control a
Toon.
Toons will probably get better later, but right now
I seriously wouldn't bother with them. Toon
Summoned Skull isn't that bad, but the fact
that you have to pay a Tribute along with
the other 4 drawback I mentioned, it turns it
into a mediocore card.

Friday: Toon Summoned
Skull
This card is a joke.
Honestly. It requires Toon World
AND 1 Tribute to play, THEN
it can't even attack the turn it is played, PLUS
you have to pay 500 LP to attack. Your
opponent can just wipe this guy out directly with
monster removal, or nuke the Toon World.
Or, they can wait for you to attack and activate Mirror
Force =/. Yes, 2500 direct damage
is nice to have, but it takes way too much to set
up (and it costs you 1500 LP total to get off one
attack with this guy). Hurting this card
even more is a wacky ruling that Toon monsters are
Special Summons, even though they
require Tribute and (to the best
of my knowledge) count as your Normal Summon.
This does give it Trap Hole
immunity, but you can't do the discard + revive
combo on it until it comes into play normally.
Even if you want to do that combo, you would
need Toon World.
Score: 2.4
2500 direct damage in
one attack is nice, but it takes too long to set
up and the Toon World combo is too
easily countered these days. Just wait until
the Pegasus Structure Deck Toons and you will have
some very worthy Toons to use. (Toon
Gemini Elf, for example: 4 stars,
1900/900, doesn't require Toon World, White
Magical Hat's effect ^_^)

Toon Summoned Skull - Magic Ruler - Ultra Rare
Spooky picture ^_^ Anyway, this card can only be used
if toon world is out and you have to tribute to bring
him out plus he cant attack till your next turn
leaving him open as fissure, raigeki, dark hole, etc.
bait. But if you can get him out and keep him out, you
can keep on attack directly for 2500 each turn and
your opponents life points will go fast. So hes good
in a toon deck obviously but he sucks everywhere else.
Rating 1.0 (if in a toon deck 4.5)

All
I can say about this cool looking guy is Sided Deck.
Yup, that's what this guy's good for, forget about
trying to get your "Toon World" in play and
just let your opponent do it for you. He'll never see
it coming and all his tinny Toons will run up against
your wall of 2500 attack points. Just imagine your
opponent's expression when you play your Toon Skull
thanks to his "Toon World".
That's
about the only think this guy is really good for, you
can try to build the Toon deck but Heavy Storm turns
into a Raigeki against you so is not really worth it.
Have fun and make sure you get a picture of your
opponent's face as he realizes he's going to lose the
game thanks to his own "Toon World". >;~)
