Tuesday - Giant Trunade
Today we look at a similar card to Heavy Storm, Giant
Trunade. This magic card returns all magic and
traps
on the field to the owner's hand.
There are a couple of great combos you can pull off
with this card that makes it much better than Heavy
Storm. But to set 1 thing straight first, Giant
Trunade will not return itself to your hand.
First off, you can use Swords of Revealing Light for 5
turns with 1 Trunade and 7 turns with 2 of them.
Plus
you can use it with Premature Burial or Call of the
Haunted to revive monsters over and over.
The other thing you can do it use it with card
destruction and maybe cyber jar's effect so that you
can seriously take a chunk out of the opponent's deck.
I give this card a 3.9/5. It's best used with
magic
cards that last on the field for a while so that you
can reuse them again and again.

It's another Heavy Storm,
but in some instances, much better. Accompany it
with Swords, other Traps you don't want gacked.
I keep a couple in the sideboard of my current deck
for certain situations. A nice way to get past a
"for certain" Mirror Force of cards
similar. Mind you, I play Heavy Storm in the
main and the Trunades in the board, but they are still
useful

Tuesday - Giant Trunade
Giant Trunade overall, is a just
a bad version of Heavy Storm. Besides
having a few decent combos, it isn't a very powerful
card.
Combos:
-You can play Swords of Revealing Light,
wait a couple turns, then Giant Trunade it
back to your hand before it becomes discarded. This
will enable you to replay the Swords of Revealing
Light, giving you more stalling power.
-You can play Premature Burial, then Giant
Trunade it back to your hand in order to cast it
again to get even more Monster advantage over your
opponent.
Besides those and a few more combos, Giant Trunade
just clears the way of Trap Holes, Counter Traps, and
any other cards that may be a problem to you for a
turn. The good part about this is that you don't lose
any Magic/Trap cards you have set on the field. This
can also be useful when you have some cards on the
field that you would prefer to be in your hand (Or
that you don't currently need).

Tuesday - Giant Trunade
Before I start, for those of you wondering,
Trunade actually does mean
hurricane/twister/whatever in Japanese, so Konami
just forgot that this is America,
and didn't make it Giant Hurricane or something :/
Anyways...
I can see this card being used for two purposes.
One is the Card Destruction/Bistro Butcher
combo that can be just pure murder as their deck
is run into the Graveyard (add Banisher of the
Light for good measure). The other is for a
temporary one-turn stall if you don't have a Heavy
Storm or something. I think the
first purpose is by far the best, as that deck can
be DEVASTATING if the combo goes
through (not good odds, though). Use at your
own discretion.
Score:
3.0 (it's really good in
the combo deck, but only average everywhere else)

Giant Trunade -- Tuesday
Introduction: There goes all your Magic and Traps
bwhhahahah!
Normal Magic
Return all Magic and Trap Cards on the field to the
respective owner's hand.
Why should you use it?
*Returns Magics/Traps
*Dangerous combos
Why shouldn't you use it?
*Doesn't destroy
Reasons: Today we look at the Giant Trunade. This card
has a very potent
destruction to almost be as good as heavy storm, if
played right. This card
basically says return your opponent's Magic/Trap
cards. This means that it
is another way of destroying their Magic and Traps,
which is good these
days. Though with combos, this card can be very
dangerous. For example, use
it with Swords of Revealing Light, it will totally be
annoying. Another
combo could be with using it with Call of the
Haunted/Premature Burial,
letting you bring a whole army. Though this thing is
very good, it doesn't
destroy which isn't good. Which a lot of Traps being
released in PSV, it is
suggested that this card isn't that great. But in
Magic Ruler, this card was
very great, due to how few dangerous traps there were.
Rating: Staple in some decks, some in not. This card
use to be good, still
is, but isn't that great. This gets a 4.1. It can do
as much as Heavy Storm,
but takes a little bit more of thinking to accomplish
it.
Conclusion: The Eye of Truth says that you should put
this in your deck.

Giant Trunade
This card is pretty ok if you use it with Swords of
revealing Light to keep your opponent from attacking
you for a decent amount of turns. Besides that I don't
see why one would use this card instead of Heavy
Storm. Granted this card doesn't destroy your Magic
and Trap cards on the field but it doesn't destroy
your opponent's either and it can help him a lot.
There are certain Trap Cards one plays in the early
game and there are others one plays in the late game,
if he had a lot of early game ones out there this is
all he needs to get a better set up.
Then again I'm too much of an aggressive player and
don't see the point of getting rid of my opponent's
Magic and trap cards on the field for one turn. I
rather just blow them up because if I bounce one of
the new Monster Reborn variants with this card to his
hand he can play it again to get an even bigger
monster. But like I said that's just up to what type
of player you are and player preference.
