Card of Safe Return
This card was considerably toned down from the TV Show. The best combo you can pull off with this card is definitely with 2 Spear Cretins. Use the so called Spear Cretin Infinite Wall while having this card out and your opponent would think twice before attacking. Basically, if you have one Spear Cretin in the Graveyard and one on the field, when your opponent attacks the one the field, you can use the effect to get the 2nd Spear Cretin back on the field. You can rinse and repeat as often as you want. I can only see this combo being used in Exodia Decks. Even in Exodia Decks, I seriously doubt you'll be able to find the space to fit them in the first place. I don't see this card being too playable in the current environment.

Friday - Card of Safe Return
"When a monster is Special Summoned to the field from your Graveyard, you can draw 1 card from your Deck. "
Card of Safe Return isn't a very good card in my opinion (Atleast in our current enviroment). There isn't enough good revival cards that can abuse it, besides Call of the Haunted, Monster Reborn, and Premature Burial, which are all, of course, restricted to one.
You can potentially use it in Exodia decks with The Shallow Grave, the three above cards, as well as Spear Cretin to get some decent draw power. But all in all, it probably isn't worth it.
Also keep in mind if your opponent Monster Reborns something from your Graveyard, you get to draw a card as well.

There's not many cards that make it playable _right now_.

Wow, the second rare I ever pulled from LoN! Basically, using this card is common sense. If you have ALOT of cards to bring monsters back from the graveyard, put this is your deck. If you play a normal beatdown, don't clutter it with this. WHen I was building my Harpie Deck, I threw this in for creativity, and it really really helped. It makes for a nice creative and original deck, and it's all around fun to play. I'm not so sure competitive wise, though. My conclusion is: If you run a run-of-the-mill beatdown that lacks Graveyard Retrieval, stay away from this card, as it will clutter your deck and most likely never help you. If you have a deck that focuses around the graveyard, put some serious thought in this card.
