Enchanted Javelin
When your opponent's monster attacks, increase your Life Points by the attacking monster's ATK points.
This card would be a lot better if it negated the attack and then gave you the LP. But the way it stands now, your monster will still take the normal damage, and any normal damage to your LP still occurs. This card is best used when your monster is in defense mode. That way you wont lose any Lp from the attack and may gain around 2000-2500 LP from that attack. A couple of these mixed with some gravity binds and other LP gainer cards can make for a very irritating deck, but it's not something I consider all that tourney worthy.
I'd give this card a 2.6/5. |

Friday - Enchanted Javelin
Normal Trap
When your opponent's monster attacks, increase your Life Points by the attacking monster's ATK points.
This is basically a weaker version of Waboku. Not something I would
recommend. Although Enchanted Javelin can do one trick that Waboku cannot. If you have a Monster on the Field, preferably in DEF, you can gain Life Points equal to your opponent's ATK without losing it.
The problem with Life gain is that it isn't usually a very good strategy. If you're wasting all your resources in order to gain Life Points, your opponent will have an even easier time hacking it all away.
In short, stick with Waboku.

Enchanted Javelin
Trap Card
Basically, this card will give you an X amount of LPs, the same amount that an attacking monster with X amount of ATK points has, first. Then the damage will come anyways, lowering you back down to where you started at first.
I'll tell you all a little secret to this card. Here's what you do:
1.) Grab a lighter or match.
2.) Create fire.
3.) Set Enchanted Javelin on fire.
4.) Laugh at the burning card as it melts your flesh from your skin. Later cry because of the astonishing amount of pain.
Rating: 1/5, and only because it can sorta kinda iffyly work in a Fire Princess deck. My God, when will this week end... =\ |
