Today we have yet
another old-school favorite. Way back in the
LOB/Starter Deck days this guy wasn't bad at all.
Once we started obtaining better options from
newer sets, his playability drastically went down.
He can be brought into
play via Giant Rat, which could prove useful at
times. But besides some Gravity Bind
based decks, he's not going to fit very well in
anything else. I used to use him in the early
versions of Clown Control over a year ago, worked
quite well.
In Limited he's
definitely better than the average Monster. 1300
ATK is considered pretty high and stable in
Limited, add in the fact he's also got 2000 DEF,
and he's a beast. Definitely an early pick in
Draft. Irregardless what you do with him, Giant
Soldier of Stone _will_ win you games in this
format.
