Stats:
Aqua Chorus is a Permanent Trap Card. Probably
the best use for it, since this allows it’s mere
500 ATK bonus to surprise an opponent going for
something they think they can easily kill.
Effect(s):
As I just stated, Aqua Chorus provides 500 ATK
bonus. What I need
to add is that it’s only works if you have two
or more monsters with the same name. Not bad,
but not great either. It also applies to your
opponent, making it even worse.
Uses/Combinations:
If you are running a deck that can quickly
summon multiple copies of monsters, or monster
tokens, then I guess this could be good. Just
remember, it’s if there are multiple copies at
all, not that you control. So if you opponent
and you have the same monster, they both get the
bonus. Not a big deal, unless you have yet
another monster on then field. The only real
advantage is that, as a Trap, you can activate
it during the Damage Step, and maybe trick your
opponent into suiciding
into your own monsters.
Ratings
Casual:
3/5-A couple decks here can actually make use of
it.
Constructed:
2/5-A Field Spell card would probably be better
than this: you (usually) have an easier time
unifying monster-type than getting multiples of
the same monster out.
Limited:
3.75/5-Much nicer here-its
not impossible to get multiple copies of a
common, and the Trap aspect makes it even
better.
Summary
Not bad in limited, but not really good
elsewhere.
