Stats:
Since it activates when you are attacked, I don’t
think it could be much better and still make sense.
Yeah, this section is pretty weak when I need to
review most non-monsters.
Card
Text (Effects):
If the attacking monster is a Tribute monster, you get
to destroy all monsters on your opponent’s side of the
field that are in attack mode. It doesn’t negate the
attack, but last I checked, if a monster was destroyed
before the damage step, its attack would be
effectively negated-it would only matter for effects
that might go off before it got nuked. There is more
though-you also do 1000 LP damage to your opponent.
Basically, this card is a super-picky Mirror Force.
Uses/Combinations:
This screams “side deck” material. Most decks don’t
use a lot of Tribute monsters, but when you come
across one, this will really hurt them bad. You could
use tricks to “make” them have a Tribute monster (like
with Creature Swap), but it doesn’t really seem worth
the effort to do so.
Ratings
Casual:
3/5-A lot of Tribute monsters are played here-at least
more than in normal tournaments.
Constructed:
2.5/5-You are less likely to come across Tribute
Monsters here, but when you do, this really hits them
hard.
Limited:
4/5-Fantastic here: almost everyone will have one
Tribute Monster that is worth summoning, so this is
practically a Mirror Force in this format!
Summary
Its
uses are specialized, but still, its not a bad card. |
