Lord Poison, another IOC plant monster. There is no
way you can say this monster is bad for a plant
deck, as it can easily revive a dead Fairy King
Truesdale. There's some power right there. Its 1500
ATK isn't too bad either since there's still quite a
bit of control in the environment. However, since
you can't revive other Lord Poisons, this monster
may be pretty weak when it hits the graveyard. He's
really only a one time shot.
Constructed: 3/5
Limited: 1.5/5
Okay...so, there's maybe 2-3 plant monsters in IOC
that you'd be able to draft? Are they worth
reviving? Probably not. |

Tuesday:
Lord Poison:
Sanganable, Witchable, all-around searchable, and
free Recursion.
Fairy King Truesdale bait like wh0a.
I like this card for a water/plant Deck. It beats
Tomato, it ties DDWL, it beats all the other
searchers...it can summon up Lekunga (in Plant it's
more necessary than in just a Water deck), it can
bring up Fairy King most importantly...they did the
smart thing and said it can't bring up another one
of itself, avoiding a new Spear Cretin.
Imagine if you can get this and Truesdale down at
the same time. This thing's 2,000, Truesdale is at
2700, and if they kill the Truesdale, you have an
easy way to get it back. Let alone if you have
another Truesdale in the graveyard.
This thing makes plant decks playable as casual
decks for now.
3.5/5 in the combo deck |

Tuesday: Lord Poison
Lord Poison is a nice monster. Being Witchable,
Sanganable, and Grizzlyable, he's very easy to get
onto the field; and with 1500 ATK he can hold his
own against some of the weaker monsters played
today. In the event that he can't hold his own,
however, don't worry! That's where the effect kicks
in.
Summoning a Plant from the Graveyard seems like an
awesome effect, and it IS pretty nice. While there
aren't very many good Plants out, there are a few
worth getting (some that come to mind are Mystic
Tomato and Fairy King Truesdale...or, if you want,
Lekunga).
He's also WATER, so he gets the usual ALO boosts,
etc...but his real use is obvious. Play him in a
Plant deck or even a Control with lots of Tomatoes;
otherwise, stay far away.
Typical tournament deck: 2.5/5
Plant deck: 4.5/5
OVERALL RATING: 3.5/5 |
