Hade-Hane
Hade-Hane is a Level 5 Flip Effect monster with 900
ATK and 1000 DEF. He can be summoned with Giant Rat,
but if you do that, you won’t get to use his effect,
as he’ll be face-up.
Hade-Hane can bounce up to three cards back to their
owners’ hands. That’s a good effect. The problem is
that he’s a Flip Effect monster who’s also a tribute
monster. It’s just not a good combination – it
wastes too many resources.
Can it be useful? Sure. I suppose you could combine
it with Shallow Grave, or summon it with Giant Rat
and then use Book of Moon or something…but I
wouldn’t recommend it.
CCGCC: 2/5
EARTH Deck (with Guardian Sphinx, Des Lacooda and
co, probably): 3/5

Hade-Hane
As if Penguin Soldier wasn't enough...
Hade-Hane is a Tribute Set that lets you bounce 3
opposing monsters back to the owner's hand.
Honestly, I've never been a fan of regular bounce --
giving an opponent their resources back leads to
early hits and life point advantage but usually ends
up biting whoever tries it in the rear end, thanks
to massive swarm with the monsters that kept getting
returned along with other cards. Bouncing to the
deck (a la Phoenix Wind Wing Blast) was actually
viable as it denied the opponent a resource next
turn (modified Yata-lock, anyone?) but I don't
really see what's so great about regular old monster
bouncing. I'd much rather just have the opponent's
monsters destroyed through some better effect.
Oh wait, I barely even touched on the fact that
Hade-Hane is a TRIBUTE SET -- you're investing two
resources (Hade-Hane and the monster tributed) in
order to try to bounce 3 monsters (at best). Hade-hane
gets Nobleman'd? -2. Hade-Hane gets removed by BLS,
some other weird face-down monster removal, or
negated by Balter? -2. Even if it gets the effect
off and bounces THREE monsters, if the opponent
either resummons them later or uses them to pay for
discard cost effects (Vortex, Tribe, graveyard
fodder for BLS) you're still -2. If you flip Hade-Hane,
you better win that turn, and with wasted resources
and turns on a tribute set, that's probably not
going to happen.

Hade-Hane COTD
...Yeah...
If your opponent has 3 monsters out on the field,
chances are you're losing, anyways. Bouncing them
won't help much unless you do something like
Morphing Jar right after. And both Hade-Hane and
Morphing Jar can get searched out by Giant Rat! Then
use Book of Moon! I got combos!
=/.
I guess you could try it out and see if you can use
it effectively, but most of the time bounce is not
very effective, and the stats are so weak that a
Sangan can take it in ATK mode, so I wouldn't go too
offensive with this unless you have Tsukuyomi and
Book of Moon to cover you.
Rating: 2/5 (T3H C0MB035!11!!!uno!)

Hade-Hane, huh?
General:
1/5 Traditional
1.2/5 Advanced
I was originally going to review Fiend Megacyber for
today, but then Monday’s card was changed to Fiend
Megacyber. Now I actually need to think of a good
card. Which isn’t too hard.

Hade-Hane
……… Well if you thought yesterday's card was bad,
then I'm happy to say you probably won't think to
highly of today's card (which is Hade-Hane in case
you've forgotten).
What can be said about a Level 5 Flip Effect
monster? Nothing good.
Moving along, when Hade-Hane is flipped face-up, you
can return up to three monsters on the field to the
owner's hand. Unlike yesterday's card, Hade-Hane's
effect is usually useful, allowing you to in most
cases clear the opponent's field of monsters.
The only real downside is that it is a Flip Effect
that comes with a Level 5 monster. So the moment you
Tribute Set Hade-Hane, your opponent will suspect
something, and make it's desctruction priority
number one. Couple this with the fact that you could
be using Penguin Soldier for a near identical effect
or Guardian Sphinx for a much more useful effect,
and Hade-Hane falls into the same category as Byser
Shock (the bad one).
Advanced: 1.5/5. Could be useful, but it's unlikely
your opponent will allow you to use the effect.
Traditional: 1/5. Flip Effect = need for avoiding.
Overall: 1.25/5.
Art: 3/5. I don't think tribal communities have much
in the axe department…

Hade-Hane - seriously. Just run Penguin Soldier if
you want bounce. Penguin Soldier, Abyss Soldier, and
Nightmare Penguin are looking down at this card from
the Empire State Building when it comes down to
constructed tournament play.
In limited, however, Hade-Hane is the ultimate
field-disruption, as it completely destroys turns of
summoning from your opponent. Oh, wait. You need to
tribute set this monster just to make sure its
effect with go off. Oh, wait. If you had time to do
that, you’re probably winning already. Oh,
wait. Nobleman-Eater Bug is infinitely better.
It’s collecting dust for a reason. Leave it
buried under your bed.

Hade-Hane
Today's card has the unremarkable power of being
able to return up to three of your opponent's
monsters to their hand when attacked. As with
yesterday's card, the only REAL thing that hinders
it is the fact it requires a tribute.
Earth and Beast are meh on accounts of no one is
probably going to run this card...ever. The only
real purpose it might serve would be in a bounce
deck, and Hane-Hane might be better. It returns two
monsters, but doesn't require the tribute.
Again, like yesterday, this card falls just short of
playability, due to the tribute.
Ratings:
1.0/5 general
2.5/5 Bounce decks (both formats)
Art: 3.0/5 Very tribal
You stay classy, Planet Earth :)

Hade-Hane
Attrib: Earth
Type: Beast/Effect
Level:5
Atk: 900
Def: 1000
FLIP: You can return up to 3 monsters on the field
to the owner's hand.
Well, looking at Hade-Hane's stats, you could
clearly dismiss THIS thing as crap, and that is
mostly what it is. I admit trying him out in casual,
it was pretty fun. I would use Giant Rat to bring it
out, and in the end phase Book Of Moon it, something
like that. The combos were sorta hard to pull off,
and I never played the deck outside of testing with
my friends.
I mean, at least with Byser Shock, I would not be
very surprised to see someone top 8 at a Shonen Jump
tourney with it. Mainly because it has some combos,
more then I listed yesterday. With a little luck you
probably pilot Byser Shock to top 8 ;\. But probably
not.
I really am trying to drag this review out, but I
mean, there is only so much you can do with this
thing. Maybe make a soul control variant and use
this =/. 3 monsters is a good bit, but if your using
even just 1 resource and this, (Tribute + This/Soul
Exchange + This) and all you hit is a bunch of goat
tokens, that isn't even worth it. I am not even
getting into the whole "I set this and the nobleman
it", congrats, thats a 2-1 for them (Your tributed
monster, barring Sangan or SInister Serpent, + This
monster itself, when they used one nobleman.)! I
would much rather have a airknight attacking/killing
those goats. Airknight also makes your opponent go "Omg,
he has an airknight out and the only monsters I have
are these goats! Wait! Snatch steal!111" "Umm, Dust
tornado".
Rofl.
Traditional: 1/5, at least in advanced, you can toy
around with types like this. I mean in traditional
you have Dark Hole AND Raigeki. So "=/=/=/".
Advanced: 2.5/5, not worth it 90% of the time.
