Pojo's Yu-Gi-Oh Card of the Day

Hydrogeddon
Common

When this card destroys an opponent's monster as a result of battle and sends it to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon 1 "Hydrogeddon" from your Deck.

Type - Dinosaur/Effect
Card Number - EEN-EN013

Card Ratings
Traditional: 2
Advanced: 2.75

Ratings are based on a 1 to 5 scale 1 being the worst.
3 ... average. 5 is the highest rating.

Date Reviewed - 12.13.05

ExMinion OfDarkness
Hydrogeddon

Although Water Dragon isn't that great, this guy isn't that bad on its own.

He's an offensive swarmer, one who gets another monster when he kills something, not when something kills him. If he manages to kill, say, a Don, another one can come out, and if it's lucky enough to kill something else, you've just swarmed the field big time. If they all get killed later, you can use another card we'll be reviewing this week to start the fun all over again!

You'll probably never see it in a tournament (for good reason) but as far as swarmers go, it's honestly not that bad.

1.25/5 Traditional
2.75/5 Advanced

SandTrap
Hydrogeddon

Hydrogeddon is one sexy monster. In the metagame right now, a lot of Flip effect monsters such as Magical Merchant and Dekoichi the Battlechanted Locomotive are being played. Hydrogeddon can help deal some extra damage while evening out the card advantage if it successfully destroys an opponent's monster. Of course, DDA and Cyber Dragon run over it, so you have to be careful. Don't be retarded and just slap these into your shit-tastic cookie cutter, be smart =/.

Oh, and more Dinosaurs to boost Tyranno Infinity, yay xD.

Rating: 3/5.

Dark Paladin
Hydroggedon is our card today, and a decent one, at least for it's own deck. Hydroggedon has 4 stars and 1600 attack points, but it has a bit of an interesting effect.

If Hydroggedon destroys a monster as a result of battle, you may summon another Hydrogeddon from your deck. That's good, I suppose. It adds deck thinning, and could give you a bit more field control. Plus, this card (and tomorrow's for those of you paying attention) are used to summon H20 Dragon.

Ratings:

Traditional: 2.0/5
Traditional Water Dragon deck: 4.5/5 It's a must

Advanced: 2.5/5
Advanced Water Dragon deck: 5/5

Art: 2/5

You stay classy, Planet Earth :)
