Armed Changer
And yet another wasted rare slot goes to...
Armed Changer is just about the epitome of crap. You
have to discard a specific card -- an equip spell --
just to use it. It's not bad enough that you have to
discard, you have to use even MORE bad card
advantage cards in your deck just to enable this
one. It doesn't even give an attack bonus! So you
give up two cards from your hand in order to get
back one from your graveyard each time the equipped
monster kills something. And it has to be one that's
equal to or less than the ATK of the equipped
monster.
So in order to do anything worthwhile with this,
you'd need to have a tribute monster or big attacker
(Berserk?) out with this on him, having given up a
card to do so (invested 3 cards so far) and kill two
monsters in order to get any type of advantage out
of this, and that's assuming you have monsters in
the Graveyard to work with.
Just throw this in the bulk rare pile, get back your
8.33 cents, and hope for something better next time.
1/5 all.

Armed Charger is an interesting spin on the
equip-spells to be released, as it grants the
equipped monster another effect. It’s certainly a
good one too. Slapping this onto a Mobius the Frost
Monarch could be silly. Too bad it’s so easy to
destroy the equipped monster. Too bad Armed Charger
has a cost in order to equip it. I guess those
downsides make this card pretty unplayable. Sad,
huh? Konami ruined yet another good concept. Thanks!

Armed Charger is our card for today, and is one of
few from Elemental Energy I've actually taken a
liking to for some reason.
Armed Charger--Equip Spell
Send 1 Equip Spell Card from your hand to the
Graveyard to activate
this card. If the equipped monster destroys a
monster as a result of
battle, the controller of this Equip Card can add 1
monster with ATK
equal to or less than the equipped monster from
their Graveyard to
their hand.
This card can be good, yet bad, all at the same
time. First, the
effect actually isn't that bad. If you attach it to
something powerful
you could bring back almost anything from your
Graveyard. However, the
card depends on the cards being in their all ready.
Armed Charger isn't a bad card, but it's really up
to the user to
decide here.

Armed Charger, so right away it’s an equip spell
card. That makes it already relatively situational
and generally a bad topdeck (Snatch Steal and
Premature Burial don’t count). So the cost is
horrible, not only a discard which drains your hand
but requiring you do drop another Equip Spell. What
were they thinking? Already this card has unplayable
written all over it.
So the effect, when the monster destroys a monster
as a result of battle you can get a weaker monster
out of your grave. So first off you have to get the
attack through, and then you have to kill the
monster, but naturally this card gives no ATK
balance so it’s really only good on monsters with
high ATK, like Cyber Dragon.
So thanks to this you discard 1 card, expend another
(itself during activation). So that’s -2 for nothing
unless you kill a monster. This card’s only saving
grace is that it’s an aggro format. So this card
takes 2 kills to break even, and even then you are
getting weaker monsters back, most likely flips. And
since monsters rarely last until the next turn this
won’t likely happen, so you are putting yourself at
most likely at least a -1. Essentially making it
easier for your opponent.
In closing if you run this enjoy top decking it,
because that will be your fait.
