ExMinion OfDarkness	Blade Rabbit Usually I don't automatically give cards 1/5s because there's a better card out there that does the same thing. Even before the ban list, when CED and BLS ran rampant, I still gave Chaos Sorcerer a decent score. This card isn't going to get the same grace. This is a watered-down, pathetic version of Dream Clown. Lower ATK, lower level stars where it doesn't need lower level stars. Dream Clown still gets under Messenger of Peace and Gravity Bind, and this doesn't. Even in a Beastdown I wouldn't play this. 1/5
Coin Flip	Blade Rabbit is a rather nifty common released on the understanding that Clown Control (see Yu-Gi-Oh! CotD's Jan. 24, 2005) does not have enough to go for it. Not really, it's fine, but now it's better. Blade Rabbit is a friendly ally to Dream Clown. Both are searchable by Last Will, Sangan, Giant Rat, and this one is searchable in multiples by Rescue Cat. Rescue Cat with Labyrinth of Nightmare or Stumbling? Ouch. 2 cards destroyed in one move, with lotsa deck thinning. That isn't the greatest sounding way of going about things, but Clown Control is still pretty damn good. They only need to stall for a turn or so, and have gotten stuff like Stumbling, Labyrinth of Nightmare, and also some rather nice ways of abusing it. Zero Gravity comes to mind, and Cyber Jar would assist in giving you stuff to destroy to get some cheap advantage. This guy just adds to the Clown Control Engine. I have no doubt that he was intended for that purpose. And he does a damn good job of that. General: Traditional: 2.8/5 Advanced: 3.3/5 Clown Control: Traditional: 4/5 Advanced: 4.5/5
Lord Tranorix	Blade Rabbit This card is remarkably similar to Dream Clown, though ostensibly not quite as good (because of his inferior stats). Nonetheless, it’s a good monster. Yes, it’s weak; but its effect is what makes it shine. Blade Rabbit works very well in decks built for it. Using cards that change battle position (such as Zero Gravity) will allow you to destroy monster after monster with your Blade Rabbit while your opponent is unable to do anything – cause you just keep changing HIS monsters’ battle positions when they attack/killing them with Blade Rabbit. Very convenient. Another good card to use in a deck like this is Stumbling, a Continuous Spell which forces all monsters into DEF upon being summoned. So you can summon Blade Rabbit and watch him be switched instantly to DEF, which will allow him to kill an opponent’s monster just like that. He’s too weak to inflict any real damage, but that shouldn’t stop you from playing him alongside some better attackers (Dream Clown does come to mind, along with maybe Mataza?) for a very annoying, very effective revived version of Clown Control. Snapper	Blade Rabbit As FET Week continues, we come to Blade Rabbit, a weaker version of an old favorite. BR’s stats are far from spectacular. In fact, they’re anything but; 400 ATK allows it to destroy Sinister Serpents and Magician of Faiths in battle, and little else. It is however a Beast, giving it the opportunity to be used in conjunction with Enraged Battle Ox to gain a trample ability. Yet due to hits ATK, it’s unlikely Trample would help it much. When BR is switched from Attack Position to face-up Defense Position, it can destroy a monster on the opponent’s side of the field. The effect somewhat makes up for it terrible ATK by allowing it to destroy any monster it pleases. But it’s ATK is still an issue; without the aid of a card like Earthquake or Windstorm of Etaqua, chances are BR will be destroyed before it gets a chance to change positions manually. This brings me to the previously mentioned “old favorite”. Dream Clown, a monster from MRD, has an identical effect and much better stats. Not only should its 1200 ATK allow it to last much longer than BR would, but it’s also a Warrior, giving it a world of possibilities. Now I realize I’m not here to be reviewing Dream Clown, but it would just be smarter to use it instead of BR in any Deck, unless of course you want to stick to the Beast theme… which would be good… just not wise. Advanced: 1/5. I should probably be rating this for a Beast Deck, but Dream Clown is just so much better. Traditional: 1/5. See Advanced. Overall: 1/5. Art: 4/5. AW! It’s cute enough that you wouldn’t mind it gnawing your face off!
Dark Paladin	Blade Rabbit When this card is changed from Attack to Defense posistion, destroy one monster on your opponents side of the field. This card is just screaming to be used in a Gravity Bind deck. Maybe even involving Weenie Rush or something. Get 3 Blade Rabbit on the field and have at least 2 Gravity Bind activated. You'll have to be careful since some Level 2 and 3 monsters will still be able to attack. Especially since Blade Rabbit only has 400 attack points. Outside of the aformentioned deck though, there really isn't a reason to run Blade Rabbit, except for fun. Though, for what it's worth, he IS a Beast, so those of you running Beast decks go ahead and try one if you're feeling ambitious. This really isn't a terrible card, it just doesn't have many uses.
