Graceful Charity
If you don't understand why this card is good, you
should just quit Yu-Gi-Oh. Seriously. THIS MEANS
YOU, local friend of Jeff Yushak, who it took Jeff a
year to convince to put Graceful Charity in their
deck.
At worst, it's a 0 that cycles your deck and gets
you better cards. In Dark World, it's usually 2 free
special summons or two additional cards from Browws.
Every form of half-decent drawpower we've got in
this game is either limited or banned. This thing
was banned, and then unbanned just so we wouldn't
get Pot of Greed back. This means you find one and
you play it. I don't care what deck you're running.
Just watch out for Gravekeeper's Watcher tech if
you're running Dark World!
5/5 all. Again, if you don't run this, you are a
huge scrub.

This review is even easier than Mirror Force.
Graceful Charity is even better. Run it and you know
you should, except in a few strange weird decks.
Ratings:
5/5 both formats, obviously

You stay classy, Planet Earth :)

If you don’t run this card, that is because you
don’t own it. Which is sad. So if you don’t run this
card hurry up and buy one before I come over and
slap you.
Staple.

Graceful Charity:
Stupid in threes. Fun in twos. Currently existing in
ones. Alright in zeros.
I think the only card to have ever sat at every
single position on the banned list chart, the
unbanning of this gives Yu-Gi-Oh back some of the
consitency it might have lacked, makes MoF
everyone's best friend again, and, on its
announcement, caused many thousands of people to
simultaneously want to play Dark World.
I like Graceful. It fills the graveyard to let other
things (E-Heroes, Dark World, Exodia, Chaos, Frog)
work better and faster. It lets us work through our
decks and weed out the cards we don't need (Screw
you, Brain Control! I'm on 700!). I think
unresrictring it won't hurt as badly as people
claim. Just hope this doesn't inspire Painful Choice
to come back.

Graceful Charity :
Happy good Friday, its Easter soon enough, and I
cant wait to get my teeth into that chocolate. Its
like a Dentist’s second Christmas !!!At Easter,
charity is often given, and this is no exception.
Graceful Charity being released to us again was a
move that caused quite a lot of controversy. On one
hand, people were really grateful to finally get
some decent draw power in, and out of the two
options available for returning, Graceful was
PROBABLY the better choice, but there are some flaws
in this.
As known, Dark world got a major boost from this ban
list what with this an the semi limiting of Deck
devastation virus. People were afraid that this
would be a problem and rightly so.
Another problem that the ban list accidentally
created was with the Semi limiting of Magician of
Faith, the abuse potential skyrocketed, still, we
all know the scores :

Graceful Charity
Ahh, Graceful charity.
I'm in no mood to do a huge review of this card, but
it has so many dimensions to it...I couldn't
possibly doing a small review like yesterday.
Graceful Charity is a Normal Spell card from Starter
Deck Pegasus. Upon Activation, you draw 3 cards from
your Deck, and then discard ANY TWO cards from your
hand.
I have 2 Cyber Dragons in my hand, I play Graceful,
I draw 3 Chaos Sorcerer, if I wanted to, I could
discard the 2 Cyber Dragons for Gracefuls effect.
Etc.
Graceful has always been one of my favorite cards,
and now I love it more than ever, as without
Sinister Serpent and only 1 Night Assailant left,
the chances of an easy discard for Gracefuls effect
are really low, barring you sack into 2 Goldds or
something stupid like that, a skilled player will
reap the benefits of Graceful and use it alot better
than less skilled players, as the better players can
see ahead, know what they'll need in a few turns, or
won't need, etc.
Gracefuls discard is a discard, part of its effect,
so yes, of course, you can Discard Dark World
monsters and get effects (If they have any, as the
card IS discarded by YOU.), and Night Assailant,
too.
I also love Graceful as its a high utility card for
rogue decks, maybe you're running more tributes than
normally, things like that, Graceful helps you out
if your deck can give you crappy hands more often
then you'd like, which is something all too common
in Yu-Gi-Oh!, so that's nice.
Over all, YES, graceful charity IS a staple. You
WON'T win if you get it before your opponent*, no
matter what someone tells you, believe us, the
Pojo.Com writers, we actually know what we're saying
=].
5/5 All formats. Run it plz.
-RJ
*Of course, I'm a testament to the fact, as I've
played [vs] REALLY solid players or amazing players
like my team mates, and actually, just a while ago
my team mate goes Graceful, discard Frog, goats and
Faith, he gets the Double graceful from there, but I
eventually come back and win with at least +2. ;/.

Graceful Charity
This card sucks, if you do not run it then you are
one of the smartest Yu-Gi-OH players ever.
Any card that turns itself into 3 and gives you a
choice, usable without a drawback and at any point
of the game, is obviously a horrid choice.
The fact it helps you run tributes and generates
choices makes it dumber.
Honestly Pot of Generosity is a far better card
See Pot of Generosity is a minus 3 that produces no
advantage what so ever. Graceful Charity does not
provide any hand advantage, it just replaces itself
with another card.

If you think I’ve been oddly quiet this week,
you’re half right. I wasn’t planning on
reviewing many cards, but I disagreed with many
of the reviewers on them so I ended up
submitting them late. So if you didn’t catch it
yet, I should have a review up for every card
this week.
Graceful Charity
is one of those precious draw cards in a game
where few exist that don’t have crippling
limitations. Most commonly played cards have
the simple cost of… running them. Drawing 3 of
them, even having to discard two from your
[newly] expanded hand, is great speed. Again,
making it even less difficult are what cards are
commonly played: Monsters can be revived by
Call of the Haunted or Premature Burial
and Spells that we now have up to two copies of
Magician of Faith to retrieve.
Discarding a Trap is a bit disheartening, but
they are also the least played card type. All
the discards are made easier by a further
aspect: redundancy caused by the high utility of
cards. Simply put, even if I have to chuck a
Smashing Ground, a highly useful cards in
most situations, I probably have a second
Smashing Ground, a Snatch Steal,
maybe an Exiled Force, etc still
available for later. Then there are card that
discarding can make better, like many Tribute
Monsters (to be revived later by Premature
Burial) or fodder for things like Chaos
Sorcerer, Strike Ninja, and Bazoo
the Soul-Eater.
Ratings
Traditional :
4.5/5 – Combos well with so many cards.
Advanced :
4.5/5 – Still a great card here too: what it
loses in combo potential it makes up for by
being the best source of draw power currently
legal.
Limited :
5/5 – For pretty much any game, draw power rules
in Limited events.
Summary
Sadly, there are many things that necessitate
this game be so dependant upon lucky draws right
now: ridiculously small deck size (especially
considering there are no mana, Energy, etc
cards), two to three card combos that can win
the game or at least reverse control without
much thought (especially after the first few
turns), and a few more things I don’t have time
to get into. You see, if we had real draw
power, those problems would all get worst
(though individual topdecks would be less
important). You run Graceful Charity.
It’s hard, but you can still find Pegasus
Starter decks if you really look for them, so
there’s no reason to not have it.
