Destiny Hero-Dreadmaster
Ultra Rare
If this
card was Special Summoned by the effect of "Clock
Tower Prison", destroy all monsters on your side of
the field except the ones that include "Destiny
Hero" in their card names, then you can Special
Summon up to 2 monsters from your Graveyard that
include "Destiny Hero" in their card names. During
the turn this card is Special Summoned, monsters on
your side of the field that include "Destiny Hero"
in their card names cannot be destroyed, and all
Battle Damage inflicted to the controller of this
card becoms 0 during battle involving monsters on
your side of the field that include "Destiny Hero"
in their card names. The ATK and DEF of this card
are equal to the combined original ATK of all
monsters on your side of the field (except this
card) that include "Destiny Hero" in their card
names.

D-Hero Dreadmaster
This card is actually good in D-Hero decks, even
without Clock Tower Prison.
Note that there are separate effects here:
*If Clock Tower Prison brings him out, you lose your
non-D-Heroes and Special Summon 2 D-Heroes from your
Graveyard.
*If it's Special Summoned PERIOD, it gets the Waboku
for your D-Heroes for a turn. This means Premature,
Call, Reasoning, Monster Gate, all that other stuff
works to activate this effect.
It's a nice swarm card for your Heroes, especially
if you're actually able to keep monsters on the
field and cards in hand (which is tough with a
non-standard theme.) I could see this stealing away
one game from an experienced player, but that's
about it. As good as the effects are for the D-Hero
monsters, they're still D-Heroes and just won't see
the tournament play.
2/5 in D-Hero deck, 1/5 all else

Dark Paladin |
Great, Dreadmaster, who was reviewed just under two
months ago may very well be the LAST card I review
for the next four months. Here is my review from
then, slightly tweaked.
Today we're looking at another D-Hero, supposedly
the big daddy of them all, Destiny Hero Dreadmaster.
Is this guy all he's cracked up to be, we'll see.
Like with our other D-Hero card this week, below I
have posted the rulings on this card from UDE
website.
“Destiny Hero – Dreadmaster’s” second sentence is
applied if he is Special Summoned by any method, not
just by the effect of “Clock Tower Prison”.
(Insert: Second sentence is: Then you can Special
Summon up to 2 monsters from your Graveyard whose
name includes Destiny Hero)
“Destiny Hero – Dreadmaster’s” first effect (to
destroy your non-“Destiny Hero” monsters and Special
Summon 2 “Destiny Hero”
monsters) is a Trigger Effect and his other effects
are Continuous Effects.
Destroying all your non-“Destiny Hero” monsters and
Special Summoning 2 “Destiny Hero” monsters is
resolved in the same chain link. Even if you have no
monsters that will be destroyed you still get to
Special Summon
2 “Destiny Hero” monsters.
If “Royal Oppression” is face-up on the field you
can activate its effect to negate the Special Summon
of “Destiny Hero – Dreadmaster”
when he is Special Summoned by the effect of “Clock
Tower Prison”. If your “Royal Oppression” is
face-down when “Clock Tower Prison” is destroyed,
you can chain its activation (flipping it face-up)
to the effect of “Clock Tower Prison”. “Royal
Oppression” will resolve first, and be face-up when
“Destiny Hero – Dreadmaster” is Special Summoned,
and then you can activate its the effect of “Royal
Oppression” when “Destiny Hero – Dreadmaster” is
Special Summoned in order to negate the Special
Summon.
So, how do you determine Dreadmasters attack and
defense? When in battle, you combine the attack and
defense of all Destiny Hero monsters attack and
defense, so he has potential for some high numbers.
Destiny Heroes just don't seem to be worth it, even
with all the new Enemy of Justice (and Power of the
Duelist) support. Maybe things will change by the
time I get back.
In closing, I'll try to review next weeks cards, if
not, I will miss each and every person here. All the
readers and fans, but I'll be back, I'm not
abandoning my post, just taking a leave.
Ratings:
Traditional: No chance in hell/5 err 1/5
Advanced: Still slim but 1.5/5
Art: 5/5 that's good
You stay classy, Planet Earth :)

Destiny Hero - Dreadmaster:
TER's text box has a friend. Well, more of a big
brother.
The summoning with the Clock Tower is rather
unlikely, and tribute summoning into a Lv. 8 is
always hard. A turn without damage is nice if it
triggers in your opponent's turn. A few free Special
Summons is good.
Death to off-type monsters is bad. A massive monster
is good. Its easy death through all known methods of
death (including crayon) is bad.
Basically, it's a nice idea, but not amazingly
practical, not least in reading the ruddy things.
Traditional: 3/5
Advanced: 3/5
Share and enjoy,

Destiny hero Dread master
Why the hell are we reviewing this again? That’s
what I’d like to know. We only did it a few weeks
back, nothings changed, we actually, one thing has.
Clock tower prison has made a huge impact in the
game recently, with Clockwork control a nice set of
stall. That made us all somewhat eat our own words,
but technically, we were reviewing it for
combination with this guy.
The last time I reviewed him I gave him a rating of
??? , but now I know what he’s really like.
Situational.
If you have the clock, you don’t want to pull this
off. If he hit’s the field, there’s a chance he
might give himself a grand total of 1600 attack,
2800 if you‘re lucky, and ok yeah for that turn he
grant himself, and the others some immunity, but
lets face it, he’s not worth it is he?
Traditional : 1/5
Advanced ; 1/5
Art : 3/5 Pretty sweet
MPS : 3/5 That’s not to say I don’t like him.

DESTINY HERO
- DREADMASTER
I look at this card and wonder once again why Chaos
Sorcerer is a common. This monster is a level 8 with
? attack and defense. On top of that in order to
activate his special effect, you have to wait
multiple turns on a spell card (Clock Tower of
Seclusion). To make him even more irritating his
effect destroys all monsters on your side of the
field without the name D-Hero. Then allows you to
summon 2 more D-Hero's from the Graveyard. As an
addition to his special summoning D-Hero's can not
be killed for the turn and you take no LP damage.
And the topper is.....
BA DUM..>>
His total attack and defense is the total attack and
defense of all D-Hero's on your side of the field.
Yay, so it is most likely 800 added together
multiple times. At best you could get Diamond Dude
in a set of 3. 1400 adds up nice.
But he ain't all bad, at least premature burial and
call of the haunted can summon him. You can even
tribute 2 monsters for a ?/?. But come
on....................
Why would the special effect of a card, you
obviously have waited to summon for multiple turns
do nothing for you. Think about it, unless you use
call of the haunted during the opponents turn, this
monster will be summoned on your turn. So if you
summon it and all of your D-Hero's why would you
waste an attack of a small monster to a monster it
can't kill? I think hitting the big monster with
dreadmaster and then ramming LP for 800 or something
is better. Any opponent who chains tt or mirror foce
to your D-Hero's is simply an idiot who probably
never reads cards.
The fact it kills all of your non D-Hero monsters I
assume could be combo potential. I know some cards
want to be sent to the grave by effects. Yet in
general this is only going to hit your spirit
reapers or maybe the awesome BEWD which should of
been helping you win the game to begin with, or
stall due to the fact we're playing a deck with a
very slow win condition. So ask yourself why once
again go through all of this...
Another, and one of the 2 possible good points is
that this monsters effect does protect D-Hero's from
Mirror Force and Torrential Tribute.
But my final thought is simply
-2 much for 2 little
thus he gets a 2/5 (some things are decent, but in
this game at this time playing this monster with the
intent of waiting 3 turns for his underdeveloped
effect, is only asking to get beat.)

Destiny Hero - DreadMaster
Basic Summary:
[ gets out the old microscope to read the effect ]
Wow there is a small novel printed on this card :D,
This card is really hard to pull off its not even
worth in my opnion except he can have a big ATK/DEF
stats depending on the number on D-Heros. If you
pull it off its usually the game ender for D-Hero
but in most situations its highly situational unless
you're running a hardcore Edo/Aster Pheonix deck it
can be a really bad topdeck but ClockTower Prison
can make it easier to bring out even that is highly
situation since most things don't last long with
Mystical Space Typhoon, Heavy Storm, Mobius the
Frost Monarch, Breaker the Magical Warrior, and
maybe a odd Dust Tornado.
Conclusion:
Unless you run the character deck this thing sreams
trade bait for little kids ~.^.
Traditional Format > 1/5:
take the the list of M/T removal above and add HFD/CeD
etc etc
Advance Format > 1/5:
Until PoTD this is the biggest D-Hero : (
Artwork 3/5:
He does look like he just got out of prison but he
forget his shirt lol.

Destiny Hero-Dreadmaster
Dark/Warrior
Level 8
Attack: ??? Defense: ???
Effect:
If this card was special summoned by the effect of
"Clock Tower Prison", destroy all monsters on your
side of the field except the ones that include
"Destiny Hero' in their names, then you can special
summon up to 2 monsters from your graveyard that
include "Destiny Hero" in their card names. During
the turn this card is special summoned, monsters on
your side of the field that include "Destiny Hero"
in their card names cannot be destroyed, and all
battle damage inflicted to the controller of this
card becomes 0 during battle involving monsters on
your side of the field, that includes "Destiny Hero"
in their card name. The ATK and DEF of this card are
equal to the combined original ATK of all monsters
on your side of the field(except this card), that
include "Destiny Hero" in their card names.
Okay, this is one long effect, took me awhile to
write the thing, but finally I did it and Im proud.
Out of all the Destiny Hero's I like this guy the
best, he has a good effect that you can work with.
Although he destroys monsters on your side of field,
if they are Destiny monsters it wont matter anyways.
You have to have Clock Tower Prison on field to
destroy all monsters and special summon 2 Destiny
Hero monsters from g/y. Thats not really hard, as
long as they dont have a MST, or a Dust down to
destroy CTP. You could always go fetch another
Dreadmaster, Diamond Dude, whatever you feel like
needing at the moment.
The effect of cannot be destroyed(all Destiny Hero
monsters), or taking 0 damage is quite nice too,
although it only goes for the turn it was special
summoned. Its a nice wall for the 1 turn you have
the effect for, something you could work with and
all. So you can ram this guy attack without being
worried about running into a Sakuretsu.(If Im wrong
e-mail me). No one is perfect...lol.
And his last effect actually makes him have an
attack depending on how many Destiny Hero's you have
on the field(except this card). Not bad at all,
could make him worthwhile, depending on how many
Destiny Hero's you have on field. Also could give
him a really low attack.
In other decks, this again does nothing unless you
like throwing out of theme cards in a deck that
doesnt fit its theme?
Pro's:
+ Special summons 2 Destiny Hero's to field.
+ Destiny Hero's cannot be destroyed and battle
damage comes to 0(during
+ the
turn it this card was special summoned).
+ His ATK and DEF could get high depending on what
you have on field.
+ He's dark, so if you run a Sorcerer, its Chaos
food.
+ He's a Warrior, alot of support for warriors.
Probably some more, these come to mind first.
Con's:
- Can only special summon Destiny Hero's.
- Destroys all monsters on your field, unless its
Destiny Hero, or unless you didnt use CTP to bring
it out.
- The cannot be destroyed and take 0 damage only
goes for 1 turn(the turn he was special summoned.
- His ATK and DEF could get low.(Depending on what
you have on field).
- He's a LV 8 Warrior, cannot fetch with
Reinforcements of Army
Anyways, seems like it could be very cool to use,
I'd recommend you use it in a casual duel. Go and
have some fun with it.
Ratings:
Traditional: 1/5(Better decks to play).
Advanced: 2.5/5(Has good effect, but only for a
Destiny deck)

Dreadmaster.
This is a great effect and card with a horribly
handycapping summoning requirement.
Wow. Nice effect. Swarming. Pumping. Game ending
effect. Unfortunately it has to rely on a spell card
to stay on the field for way too long.
He would be AWESOME! If he did not have to rely on
Clocktower Prison. :( oh well. It may be fun just to
get it out one time and watch your opponents facial
expression.
Bottom Line: D-Hero Deck - 2/5: more than not you
will find yourself with this guy in hand and watch
your opp blast your clocktower on the first turn
out.
Traditional: 1/5
Advanced: 1/5
Art: 2/5 Lackluster for the D-Heros. He actually
looks kinda normal.
Until Next Time, If you do not Master your Dread,
Your Dread will be your Master.
