Tebezu
This monster is decent. The ability to replace itself twice. The ability to attack twice. Dark/warrior. But the downside of this monster is the tribute issue and the fact we can not use mystic tomato, premature burial, or call of the haunted (ETC.) to special summon him. Had he been a 4 star monster, I am assuming he'd been the new staple. But this monster has all the makings of something great yet makes itself unplayable.

He is not terrible, but if you tribute for this monster and I can suicide a sangan into it and technically be tied in advantage ask yourself why?

If his attack was something worth fearing, I'd see him as playable.

But 1000 attack tribute you can basically use once, no way. Not worth the cut.

1.8/5

Killer effect but 6 stars limits his use.

Destiny Hero Double Dude

This card isn't bad for a dedicated D-Hero deck.

The tributing for a 1000 ATK monster is pretty bad, even if it gets to attack twice. (If you want to get a decent double attacker, you still have Mataza...) What makes this card acceptable for the theme are the two tokens it generates when it dies. Without Chaos Sorcerer around, there's no automatic removal of a card every turn -- Bottomless won't hit this, your opponent probably won't waste DDWL on this, so odds are it'll get its effect. Being that some of the effects of D-Heroes (one of which will be reviewed later this week) require many Tributes, this helps the deck as a whole.

...just hope you're able to clear the field or at least help him somewhat before you Tribute for such a weak monster.

Double Dude:
Does exactly what it says on the tin. Exist twice.

A 1000 double attacker is fairly standard nowadays and won't really destroy that much. But the main use of this guy is the two bits of tribute fodder you gain when destroyed. Note the lack of "as a result of battle". Note it with joy. Imagine the combo joys (which I shall permit others to think about). Just don't tribute it.

Pippin Here we have a little mix of a few good monsters with a much worse summoning ability. This is a mix of Mattaza, Nimble Momonga, and Twin Headed Behemoth.
The best part about all of these monsters is they all have 1000 atk or over and are 4 stars or less. So why play a single monster with similar effects for 6 stars? Its a warrior and can be summoned by searchers and grabbed by Reinforcement.

But thats it. If can attack twice (Mattaza) if it is destroyed you get 2 other copies (mix of Momonga and Twin Headed Behemoth). Its stats are just too much to get over for me.

Bottom Line: D-Hero Deck: 3/5 - Can be helpful for stall and possibly for helping with Dogma
1/5 everywhere else (this falls into that group with UFOroid, great effect, just too much to summon normally)

Art: 4/5 I like this art. A Jekyl and Hyde type thing.

Destiny hero double dude :

Now this IS interesting.

Being a 1000/1000 double dude is particularly weak for a level 6. “Ahhh well” , you think, “ I could just search him with a Mystic tomato” , Well, no actually. DHDD can’t be special summoned. “Then why bother?” you think to yourself. Well I’ll tell you. (btw, I realised I did a lot of speaking for you all then)

DHDD is quite potent , having the ability to attack twice, a powerful trait shared with a lot of cool cards, although granted one of them has more attack, is a lower level, as well as the same attribute and lower level. I am of course talking about Mataza the Zapper, who, in fact CAN be searched via Mystic tomato. Having said this, I’ve built a pretty strong case AGAINST this monster.

Still, in D hero, you may find a use for this, especially considering that when he’s destroyed via any means you can get yourself a couple of 1000/1000 tokens to use.

Traditional : 1/5
Advanced ( d hero) 2/5

Art ; 3/5 Pretty sweet actually.
MPS : 3/5 I like it.

MikeJ Destiny Hero - Double Dude

Basic Summary: Ohhh my this card would be soo much better if it was special summon able, Now It would be cool if you could
special summon this through Mystic Tomato but whatever but that would too cool. Now for one tribute you get a Mataza the Zapper but weaker plus when it dies in battle you get Tokens when can defend you during your next stand by phase.

Conclusion: This review was short I just wanted to state my opinion that this should be Mystic Tomato searchable but whatever.

Traditional Format > 1/5: why bother

Advance Format > 1/5: Tomato why......

Artwork > 3/5: at least I like the artwork

Destiny Hero Double Dude: POTD-EN014

Destiny Hero Double Dude has two great effects with a few restrictions:

  • He can’t be Special Summoned.
  • He has to go to the Graveyard to activate his effect.
  • He’s only 1000 ATK.
  • He’s a 6-star monster.

Other than that the card’s effect is well worth playing around the restrictions. He can attack twice and when he is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard you can Special Summon two “Double Dude” tokens (1000 ATK/1000 DEF) on your next Standby Phase.

Your opponent probably won’t want to destroy this card for fear of facing 2 more monsters on the next turn. He combo’s well with Torrential Tribute, Ring of Destruction, anything that destroys him. A couple of my friends have tried this card out with moderate success. The 1000 ATK is a real hindrance to this monster’s potential, but I feel it was necessary to prevent this card from being too powerful.

Last Word: Use this card if you like it. It’s decent. If you can get around the 1000 ATK, then you can enjoy a monster that attacks twice and can bring out two token clones after he is destroyed.
