Injection Fairy Lily
Here's a card that got some new playability with
Magician's Circle and the Spellcaster deck, and
could actually see some play.
I haven't seen Lily in many good decklists lately.
Maybe it's because players are playing part-aggro,
part-control, and they'd rather drop Don Zaloog or
Spirit Reaper next to that Cyber Dragon they just
Special Summoned as opposed to this. Given the lack
of card-drawing and how valuable one card can be, I
could understand that.
Lily is for the most aggro of the aggro decks, one
that wants to end a Duel before card advantage even
becomes an issue. It's gained Magician's Circle
(which against an unprepared opponent will usually
let a player pull out their Lily against an ATK mode
Magician of Faith and punch through for 3,100) and
more reason to actually PLAY Magician's Circle in
the form of Spellcaster's Judgment. Not to mention
it also has Sangan and Giant Rat to fetch it.
Finally, Magical Dimension allows a player to get a
last use out of their Lily on the field once their
Life Points drop below 2,000.
At best, I could see it as some gutsy tech in
someone's deck or a decent side deck choice. At
worst (and given the tendency of players to only run
what they've seen other people do well with, I think
this is the case), it'll stay in the trade binder
until we hear about the next list.

Now, we come to the cutest Spellcaster out
there...Injection Fairy Lily. The effect of Lily is
simple...during the damage step of EITHER players
turn, you may give her 3000 attack points at the
cost of 2000 of your own lifepoints.
I see Injection Fairy Lily working in only 3 real
decks. First, an Earth Control/Beatdown obviously.
Remember, she is one of the few non Light/Dark
Spellcasters and 3400 attack points (even with the
cost) is going to do something.
She also works well in a Fire Princess Burn/LP
recovery deck. Here, you'll be constantly restoring
your own lifepoints, so you won't really be troubled
by the 2000 lp cost. Here, you should be able to use
her effect many times.
Possibly, the last place she could work is maybe in
an Agent/Saturn deck. All those cards work with your
lifepoints being higher than the opponents, so if
you get high enough, you could use her, but maybe
not.
Ratings:
Any of the above mentioned decks: 4.25/5 Anywhere
else: 3/5
Art: 4.5/5
You stay classy, Planet Earth :)

Lily
Hey it’s the…. Oooops can’t say that here can I? :P
K, so today we are looking at a very powerful
monster. At the start of this format she was back in
force usually ending a lot of games. A Cyber Dragon
to Lily drop hurt, and I mean it hurt. A 3400 direct
shot is nothing to laugh about. But given this why
has she seen less and less play as the format
evolved? Well the simple fact is that the format
evolved. At the very beginning the format appeared
to be a very simplistic, archaic and rather dumbed
down format. At the beginning of the format there
was little innovation and it resulted mostly in
mirror matches. Which were solely based on luck.
As time progressed players started to look into the
mechanics further to try to find ways to generate
advantage, even in a format not friendly to that.
Thanks to that various other CC decks started to
show up, and they rely less on fast damage. This
changed the meta so that lily became more
situational. She still has the potential to win the
game in one turn, but the meta is no longer as
friendly to blatant aggression. Heavier backfields
have led to this.
Still dangerous, but balanced by the associated risk

Injection Fairy Lily
Todays card is quite obviously Injection Fairy Lily.
It is an ultra rare card as a reprint in the Special
Edition EEN boxes, but was originally the bad (But
still good) Secret Rare of LOD. Disowned because of
the better Secret Rare of the set, Yata - Garasu.
Injections stats are 400/1500, Level Four, Earth
Spellcaster. I think ;x.
Its effect is simple but causes alot more problems
than it should in tourney play. The effect is
simply, During the damage step when you attack with
this card, you can choose to pay 2000 lifepoints to
give this card 3000 more attack points.
This boost is put on top of any equips to IFL, for
example, boost ifl when she already has an Axe Of
Despair on her, makes her a 4400.
The basic way to play this card is very simple.
Summon IFL.
Enter Battle Phase.
"IFL Attacks"
"Response?"
"No."
"Ok, I'll boost her for 2000 life points."
Simple, no?
Its a good card, I run it.

Injection Fairy Lily.
Back in the day, this was the ‘Jinzo Killer’ card,
and ran by many.
Nowadays it’s a tech against Cyber Dragon, and a
card to be feared when face up.
For the hefty cost of 2000lp, this little beastie
becomes an enormous 3400 lv 3 !!! Fitting under
gravity bind and level limit area B, and being spell
caster, this hot chick is really good in Advanced.
Combo able with Magical Dimension , this is a must
for a spell caster deck, not to mention a good
shocker for someone using Magicians Circle !!!
Traditional : 3/5 Pretty average, as it wont be on
the field for long and Lp is more of an issue.
Advanced : 4/5 Worth it.
Art : 4/5 - Gorgeous , not that I’m into that.

Injection Fairy Lily:
The ultimate weenie!
You pay 2000 Life Points for the ability to destroy
any monster you will see or just bash for an amount
of damage that brings an entirely new meaning to the
word 'poke'. She can be fetched with Giant Rat,
Sangan, etc. and has an alright DEF of 1500 for
fending of Don and Tomato.
If you are running beatdown, especially Earths, this
little girl is for you. Otherwise, you probably have
better things to do to win the game. However,
consider this as a side deck against Spellcasters as
it makes them think twice about playing Magician's
Circle.
