Dark Paladin	Welcome to a fresh week of cards, and a new week of Shadow of Infinity. Today we look at one of the two popular Ritual monsters from the set, Ruin-Queen of of Oblivion. This week I've chosen some very interesting cards for us to review. This is our toned down, weaker, ritual version of the banned Black Luster Soldier-Envoy of the Beginning. Instead of having 3000 attack points and being able to attack twice if it destroys a monster, Ruin has 2300 attack points and can attack twice if she destroys a monster. Furthermore, Ruin is a Level 7 Ritual monster, meaning you're losing the Ritual Card "End of the World", and (at least one other card assuming you discard a Level 7 or higher monster.) If you want a monster who can attack twice with 2300 attack points, why not equip an Axe of Despair to Matazza the Zapper? Plus, Matazza doesn't have the downside of having to destroy something in order to attack a second time. Ratings: 2/5 all, sorry, I just don't think it's worth it. Dark Maltos	Ruin Queen of Oblivion This is the ritual counterpart to Blackluster soldier ironically enough, as the actual blackluster ritual monster is now sitting on the shelf gathering dust. Ruin , and her brother Demise have recently been brought to us in Shadow of Infinity, both share traits with the critically acclaimed Envoys , as well as the same ritual card. Of all the rituals available to us most are absolutely terrible and would never be considered a strong deck type. This however, along with her brother is a valued exception to that generic rule. Ruin has somewhat low attack for her high level 8 manner, but still not a half bad effect if you can use her correctly, being able to attack once again in a row if she successfully destroys a monster in the 1st attack. Decent, but hardly worth it outside of a Armageddon / Oblivion ritual deck. Traditional : 1/5 We are allowed to use her FAR superior counterpart here for a lot less of a cost. Advanced : 3/5 When used well. Art : 2.5/5 Meh… MPS : 4/5
Tebezu	Ruin, Queen of Oblivion this card is definitely not as powerful as the King. But her effect, if used on a clear field (a.k.a. no sakuretsu armor and the like) will basically pay for the huge investment to summon her. But she is a ritual and her effect does not create instant advantage, and she is vulnerable to widespread ruin, bottomless trap hole, etc. thus I give her a 2/5 I want rituals monsters to be worth the investment.
