Cyber Laser Dragon
Ehh, we got a card noobs will be all over because
it's on the show...
Cyber Laser Dragon is essentially a Ritual; it's a
4-card investment. You know how I feel about 4-card
combos when 3-card combos can win games straight out
(Cyber-Stein + Megamorph or Limiter + Trunade).
Well, 3-card investment if it's not in your hand.
For your three or four cards, you get a 2400 with
built in monster destruction against stronger cards.
Wow...I think we already have something better than
this. It's called Smashing Ground! And we can use
three of it! I think I'd much rather have two Cybers
and two Smashings available to me rather than a card
that functions like a Smashing with +300 ATK.
As I mentioned at the very beginning here, newbies
will want this card. But the BAD thing is they need
Cybers to run it, which means they'll need THOSE
too. This will make it harder for us to get the
Cyber Dragons from them, which is really the only
thing we're after...so start hoarding Proto Cyber
Dragons from the dime/quarter bin, as your best
chance is gonna be to trade someone 3 of those for
their real Cyber, if they're at all interested in
Cyber Laser.

To
close the week, we'll be looking at one of the new
Cyber Dragon nomi-monsters, Cyber Laser Dragon.
Cyber Laser Dragon is a Nomi monster, as stated,
which usually isn't good. CLD can only be summoned
by the card Photon Generator Unit which requires you
to tribute to Cyber Dragons on your side of the
field.
Then, you have a 2400 attack monster who can destroy
one monster per turn (should you choose) whose
attack or defense is higher than Cyber Laser
Dragons.
Not that bad of an effect, but you are giving up
three cards in order to summon it. Photon Generator
Unit plus the two tributed Cyber Dragons. The effect
can be really annoying to the opponent if you keep
him on the field for long.
Ratings:
4/5 Cyber Dragon deck, as it's the only place it
belongs.
Art: 4.5/5
You stay classy, Planet Earth :)

Cyber Laser Dragon:
Looks cool, but I prefer the real Cyber Dragon.
The idea here is a monster that can destroy all
other monsters. However, it is basically a Ritual
monster (does Blue not go well with Cyber Dragon's?)
since it requires two tributes and a "Ritual Spell"
known as Photon Generator Unit to summon.
I'd say it's not worth the bother. Use your Cyber
Dragons, however Proto they may be, to summon the
fusions. They are good.

Advanced: 2/5

Cyber Laser Dragon
Zomg. This card is so bad.
I'm sorry, I don't like reviewing cards the way I
do, its just me though =[. I'm like an active sand
trap, and I'll pull one from his book:
This card is a steaming pile of $h!t, and will never
see top 8 of an SJC unless its a joke in someones
side deck =[.
I just read this card...and wow, its effect is near
useless, nothing much is over 2400, actually,
NOTHING played today is over 2400, so its effect is
already pretty bad, but then I read Photon...omg.
ROFL.
Terrible, come on Konami, GIVE ME SOMETHING PLEASE.
Don't give up hope readers, the next two weeks are
great.
1/5 ALL AROUND.

Cyber laser dragon :
A card many like, but do realise its limited play.
Cyber laser dragon is a recent addition to our game
which was what can only be described as an attempt
to draw people away from their CC ways and to try
using Cyber Dragon in its own deck.
Needless to say, they failed miserably. Both
incarnations, though awesome in artwork, were
lacking effect wise, and more often than not you are
better off keeping your Cyber Dragons.
Not to mention the enormous cost of this cards
summoner card, which requires the offering of 2
Cyber dragons to do, (although granted you could use
2 Proto Dragons).
In a Cyber Dragon deck, I would suggest running this
just for some 1 hit kill combos and the like, but I
don’t advise your hopes of winning with it. Cyber
laser has decent attack, and strangely enough, there
in lies the problem. You can only kill monsters with
higher attack, which at 2400 is not going to happen
any time soon.
Traditional : 1/5
Advanced : 2.5 /5
Art : 5/5 Very cool
MPS :4/5 I admire what they were trying to do.

Cyber Laser Dragon
this monster is playable simply because it can be
summoned from the graveyard. Plus its summoner is a
quick play magic card. Imagine hitting your opp.
with 2 cyber dragons and then Bam, bringing out this
bad boy for 2400 extra damage. Or you attack into a
sakuretsu armor or something. Bring out this
monster. Your opp. Snatch Steals, Brain Controls,
Soul Exchange, etc. you get your investment back.
See, Cyber requires 3 cards to use, but by
activating the generator unit in response to a card
you get one, bring out cyber laser, kill a monster
you now have 2 cards payed for. If your opp.
smashing grounds, 3 cards have been payed for. Plus
his effect, though kinda weak, it useful in case you
ever come across a tribute monster.
I like him alot.

Yeah so I’ve been extremely busy this week, hence
why I haven’t had any cotds for a bit. Today I will
sum up all of the 5 cards for the week. And I’ll do
it in 2 words….
They suck.
That’s my thoughts on all of them. For details you
can contact me or I may submit full reviews if I
have time.
For ratings, essentially pick a rating between 0.2
and 1.0 for both traditional and advanced for all of
them. But the catch is that the total value of
ratings can’t be above 3.5 combined for traditional
and the same limit for the total for advanced.
