Monk Fighter
Welcome to Monk week! This week, we're reviewing the
"monk" series of cards from The Lost Millennium, as
a special request from the Head Honcho himself, Pojo.
That doesn't mean I'm going to be overly nice in the
reviews though :p
This card's effect isn't great, even in its themed
deck -- the strength comes from its combo card, Lone
Wolf (which we'll get to later in the week).
The battle damage isn't so much of an issue -- we
play Tomato, Giant Rat, etc. in ATK mode and tend to
not worry about the damage that a Monarch or Cyber
Dragon would punch through. ON ITS OWN, the card
blows (although it does get points for being
Rat-searchable, at least in a Monk deck.)
2.5/5 in the Monk deck, but 1/5 overall. My reviews
tend to be short for sub-par cards if you haven't
noticed.

Monk Fighter:
And for your reading pleasure, we present Monk week;
a special grouping of cards related to those bald
guys in orange gowns you see in Disney.
Sadly, in being transfered to card form, their more
interesting aspects seem to have disapeared. Monk
Fighter is a basic start. 1300 ATK is rubbish, not
even being able to floor a magically inclined
tomato.
His effect ignores the beating you'll get when he's
attacked, but his uselessness on the field is
unavoidable. The only real reason to play him is to
activate the other cards in this week.

Battle Damage to this card's controller that he/she
takes from a battle involving this card becomes 0.
This card is not really all that bad on its own, it
just gets overshadowed by bigger/better monsters
like Don Zaloog and Cyber Dragon.
As a tech card against Cyber Stein I can see it
being a killer investment. The ability to attack
without fear of LP loss is quite powerful.
Outside of that scenario and a Master Monk Deck...
This card gets a 2/5. Even though it can be useful,
I like monsters with gumption. I like monsters with
killer stats. I like monsters that warrant an
opponent to drop smashing ground. This thins gets
killed by the everyday recruiter.

Monk Fighter
Monk Fighter is the center piece to all of the cards
we will be reviewing this week. Sitting at 1300 ATK
he won’t be destroying many monsters in battle. The
good part is that you do not take Battle Damage
involving this monsters and another. So, if Monk
Fighter is going to get hit by a large
creature…perhaps Cyber Twin Dragon or Zaborg the
Thunder Monarch you won’t take anything. Not taking
that 1000+ LP damage can really make a difference in
the long run.
Last Word: Monk Fighter is decent. His ATK and DEF
stats are not worthy enough to play him in a normal
deck, BUT you don’t take damage. That’s a good
thing. Especially considering that you will need him
to bring out Master Monk and use any of the other
cool cards we’ve got coming up this week.

Monk Fighter - Monday
Today we look at Monk Fighter from the TLM set. This
might be a short review but only because I dont
think its any good.
All it does is make any battle damaged inflicted to
your Lp's 0. Monk Fighter still dies. He has only
1300 attack and 1000 defense, so it dies to Cyber
Dragon. The only good thing is that it can bring out
a Master Monk, which ironically is crap too.
Dont use please, you will hurt your brains.
