Twin-Headed Behemoth
Yay, we're reviewing a card that doesn't suck today!
Twin-Headed Behemoth is once again a viable deck
choice. With more and more Monarchs out there, they
need all the support they can get. Treeborn Frog and
a Brain Control or two helps, as do GK Spies, but
sometimes that just isn't enough and you need a
monster guaranteed to come back next turn and give
you one shot at a summon. Although I wouldn't be
playing the Wind monsters that could search this, it
is Sanganable, it's Last Will-able, and is a
stepping stone on the path to a Zaborg.
This card should be considered even if you're
already running the standard tribute support cards
for your Monarchy deck.
3.5/5 Advanced
1.75/5 Traditional (not entirely useless, with all
the Raigekis and CEDs and whatnot getting thrown
around out there)

Twin-Headed Behemoth:
This card holds the distinction of being the card
most called to be unrestricted. Well, it seems like
it.
Twin-Head has seen play recently. Not great, but
enough. If your opponent blows one head off, the
next turn the other returns, slightly smaller, to do
the job. He also serves as wonderful Dragon support
as Dragons need tributes and this is virtually a
guaranteed tribute.
Now its restriction, for those who don't know, is
down to its interaction with effects that shuffle it
into the deck. As you are only allowed the effect
once per game, if you use it and then shuffle him
back into your deck along with another copy, how
will you know which copy you've already used. Most
people consider this a moot point, but UDE/Konami
don't seem to be bothered with fixing it, so we can
only enjoy one.
Traditional: 3/5
Advanced: 3.5/5
Share and enjoy,

This is what I'm talking about, a 1500 attack
monster that replenishes itself on the field. Now
when your in a losing situation using a Mirror Force
on this (and or sangan) alone hurts. (I've done it
and ended up winning the game as a result:P) but the
ability to replace itself with a 1000/1000 is a
godsend. Thus it will usually hold off a creature
swap, Exiled Force, Zaborg, attack, etc. Then end up
fueling a swap or simply hitting an opponent for
1000. Even cooler to see an opponent Torrential
Tribute (or yourself for that manner) only to watch
him come back for a tribute next turn.
This monster needs to be in any aggressive
Beat-Down/aggro built. Even control builds can find
a use for it.
4.8/5
Not broken to the extent of BLS or Chaos Sorcerer
(or my Armed Dragon LV. 10 :P) but so close to
becoming a staple it hurts.

Twin Headed Behemoth ;
Hey guys, long time no see. It’s getting harder to
get this stuff up lately , what with work and
school, but have no fear, I’m still here, and I’ve
got something special planned for next week since
I’ll have a bit of spare time for myself. Should be
pretty cool, and scheduled for the 31st, so keep an
eye out. I’m also gonna try and do a fair few Friday
decks soon, I’ve been trying to finish one for about
a month now, and I’ve got a XYZ amongst others to
do, as well as a hell of a lot of email to reply,
mainly deck fixes, something im NOT rushing to do
btw sorry.
Anyway, on with the card. Twin headed behemoth is an
old favourite of mine, as he’s one of the best
dragons one there, being searchable, a great defense
as well as tribute fodder, star qualities in any
deck.
In armed dragon builds he provides an alternative
search to LV 3 , as well as a tribute source for LV
5 failing that.
Outside of that build, he still has his uses , being
searchable by Sangan , and good for monarchs. 1500
is enough these days, as it can run over Don’s,
Mystic swordsman’s, Searchers, and to a certain
extent Exiled force regardless of how likely that is
to happen.
The only real downside is that his effect is ONLY
going to be activated once . There’s no resetting of
this bad boy whatsoever. You can flip him face up ,
face down, return to your hand, send to the
opponent’s hand, return to deck return to sender,
remove from play, NOTHING can make it happen twice
short of starting a new game or cheating, not so
much a downside if you’re not that greedy.
Overall, a decent card, and near staple in a Dragon
- Build.

Art ; 3/5 Nicht so gut.
MPS ; 4/5 I like it. |

Twin-Headed Behemoth
This card alone can really disrupt your opponent’s
best laid plans. By far one of the best cards in the
format right now. Great for baiting Zaborgs, makes
Sakuretsu Armor the worst Trap card in existence,
excellent Creature Swap target, and superb Tribute
fodder.
He’s got a beefy 1500 ATK for a 3-star monster and
his sub-type (Dragon) really doesn’t make a
difference; he can go into any deck. How many
Tributes are you running these days? 4…5…maybe 6…Yes
he is great for this.
He’s also a pretty good Aggro monster for Control
decks. Who wants to destroy a Twin-Headed Behemoth
via Spell or Trap effect? The preference for dealing
with Twin-Headed is to destroy him in battle right?
Protect him for a little while and you’ll see a
frustrated opponent.
Last Word: Play Twin-Headed Behemoth. The inclusion
of this monster in the Standard Monarch deck makes
perfect sense. He’s still vulnerable to Banisher of
the Radiance, but he can smash through Dekoichi and
Mystic Tomato like nobody’s business.
Traditional: 4/5
Advanced: 5/5
E-mail
me if you’ve got any good Dragon deck lists. I’ve
always been interested in that. Also, e-mail me any
decks you readers may have to:
deathjester86@gmail.com.
I
don’t care if those decks are ‘cookie-cutter’ or
not. I DO fix or comment on decks, but please be
patient as I get quite a few e-mails daily. I have a
1 week maximum waiting time for a reply to an email.
This gives me time to completely focus on your
e-mail and give you the best response. I am
responding to e-mails in the order they come. The
sooner you e-mail me, the sooner I can get to your
deck or answer your question.
