Creator OfThePoint System	Friday: D-Hero Malicious Still overpriced, but still broken for the decktype it supports. So many great things about this card. It basically makes Destiny Draw read "Special Summon D-Hero Malicious, draw 2 cards." It's great Monster Gate bait. The removal adds one more D-Hero to the RFG pile so that when you Return or Dimension Fusion, Elemental Hero Stratos can pick off one more S/T before you tribute it off for your big beatstick or Destiny Hero - Dasher's effect. The only negative things would be hitting one OFF of Monster Gating something else or Reasoning when you're hoping for Jinzo or DMoC to seal the deal. Weak enough that it's not overly broken on its own, but powerful support for pretty much every other worthwhile effect the Diamond Dude Turbo deck plays. Glad that one kid traded me one for the equivalent of 66 cents at Butler... 5/5 for the decktype.
Dark Paladin	Friday Great, closing the week we look at a Destiny Hero, a terrible Destiny Hero. So, we are looking at a Special Summon 800 attack monster, who requires a Tribute to summon first, and then you have to have the first one be destroyed before you can use the effect. Garbage, even where it belongs. Sorry to be so short, but this is horrible. I'm not going to waste your time with this. Ratings: 1/5 all around, and I do believe that is justified. Art: I'd like to say 1/5 since I really dislike this card, but 3/5 You stay classy, Planet Earth :)
Ryoga	D-Hero Malicious : The picture really does not match the 800 ATK. This should never be Tribute Summoned, ever. It should be discarded at all costs. Then, remove it for free tribute fodder. I rather like that, but only a certain type of deck could support it. And that's not really monarchs, more combo. Traditional: 3/5 Advanced: 3.5/5 Share and enjoy, Ryoga
Tebezu	D-Hero Malicious 4/5 His low stats and high level are not why he is played. Dump this guy in the graveyard via lightning vortex, card trooper, etc. and you have just gained a card of advantage that can be metamorphosed into something mean, a tribute, etc. I was happy to pull two of these from packs simply because this guy has one of the coolest pictures ever. The DDT deck is not possible without him because he is another reason why Destiny Draw is such a power card. A great card in a nice package. More attack would be nice but then he'd be more broken. We can also not let his playability outside DDT be overlooked. He is reachable by a few battle searchers. This means that a player can have a steady card to drop metamorphosis on.
Turkeyspit	Destiny Hero Malicious I LOL when people say that D-Heros suck. I just wish that Konami would be as creative when designing ALL future Themed decks. Malicious by itself is a fairly good card, but when combined with Destiny Draw, he is almost broken. - Activate Destiny Draw - Discard Malicious - Remove Malicious from play to summon another to the field from your deck - Tribute that Malicious for Monster Gate - Remove that 2nd Malicious for the 3rd one - Normal Summon 3 Monsters on the field without any loss of advantage. Wow. Destiny Hero Malicious, like Destiny Hero Dasher, pose a serious dilemma for any opponent, as both cards are equally usefull in the graveyard as they are on the field. Destiny Heroes have proven themselves to be a solid decktype, even with the restriction of Elemental Hero Stratos and Dimension Fusion. If you're fortunate enough to have a full playset of Malicious and Destiny Draw, congrats! The rest of the Diamond Dude Turbo deck is easily aquired and very inexpensive. If you aren't lucky enough to have these cards, my heart goes out to you, as you will have to fight off DDT decks for some time to come. ------------------------- Traditional: 1/5 - Eventhough it's DARK, it's counterproductive to BLS / CED Advanced: 4/5 - One of the foundations of the current Diamond Dude Turbo deck. Lonely Wolf	April 6th To end off this week we look at an excellent card from the Aster Pheonix duelist pack.. DESTINY HERO – MALICIOUS Dark LV6 ATK/800 DEF/800 [Warrior/Effect] By removing from play this card while it's in your Graveyard, select 1 "Destiny Hero – Malicious" from your Deck and Special Summon it. This is a powerful creature. The easiest monster to compare it to is Peten the Dark Clown. Peten doesn’t require a tribute. It’s effect can be activated on both you and your opponent’s turns, but since it’s effect is optional, it being sent to the graveyard has to be the most recent thing to have happened or it will miss the timing. If this card strikes your fancy, it can be included in almost any deck that you need some extra blockers and/or tribute fodder. Malicious on the other hand is a 6 star monster. An 800 attack, 6 star monster. Not good. Its effect can only be activated during your turn, but you won’t be missing the timing. Unlike Peten, Malicious can’t be included in any deck. It belongs in decks that are packing several cards that involve discarding, namely Destiny Draw, which is going to get reviewed later this month. You obviously don’t want to be tributing for this monster. You want other ways for it to reach the graveyard to make use of its effect. So, on its own, Peten is the better choice, but in the right deck, Malicious just might be the way to go. Traditional: 3.5/5 (We still have Charity here, and Chaos) Advanced: 4.5/5 (In the right deck) Art: 4.5/5
BobDoily	Friday The final card for this week is D-Hero Malicious. He comes across as a supped up version of Peten. Loosing the weakness related to timing issues, and gaining a versatility in being able to special summon the replacement when desired, are all pluses. The major downside is that he is a level 6. Of course that is easy to get around with Mystic Tomato and all of the other support that is out there for warrior and D-Heros in particular. He’s a solid card that offers support and deck grinding that D-hero decks implement well. Traditional 2/5 Advanced 3/5
