Snipe Hunter
This card will be seen in our metagame fairly often
for a short while, but that doesn't mean it's great.
The effect is balanced, but from what we've learned
so far from playing YGO, people play broken cards,
not balanced ones. Its 1500 ATK is at the highest it
can be and still be searchable by Tomato/Will, and
the Dark type is well supported in general.
On to the effect...
What most players need to understand is that a 2/3
chance of destroying a card is NOT a 100% chance of
destroying a card. You WILL end up needing his
effect, discarding, and rolling a 6, discarding
again and rolling a 1...it's good in a lot of
situations, but only if you can get the rolls for
it.
I see this being sided a lot more than maindecked,
and I predict that at least one person will get
caught cheating with a die loaded so that it won't
land on 1 or 6.
3/5

Sniper Hunter:
It is killing me through the power of numbers. Oh, I
am so scared.
Actually, I quite like this guy. A fairly decent
1500 ATK, Fiend is a reasonably supported type,
easily searched with Tomato and Sangan, and a 1-4-1
destruction effect that can target anything multiple
times in a turn. It's only problem is that this only
works 2 times in 3, so occassionally you will lose
your card.
As such, this is a good enabler, something to try
and clear the board in the end game, and Fiend decks
would love one or two of these around.

Snipe hunter
rolling a dice is the part that gets me. Only 2/6
chance that it will be a minus one. Still, the fact
it requires a discard and most decks do not build
advantage with cards like thunder dragon and sonic
bird to take advantage of this effect, means that it
needs a specialty deck to be truly devastating.
2.5/5 in a deck not dedicated to taking advantage of
its effect.
