Destroyersaurus
Even with a similar effect as yesterday's card...the
deck is only good as the field spell that needs it
to be there. I don't see a lot going for Dinosaurs
even with Jurassic World, so this guy is a bit lower
in my mind.
1800 ATK is respectable, but would it have killed
them to throw on the extra 100 ATK? Defense is 100
lower than Atlantis as well. Jurassic World's big
trick is Volcanic Eruption...which blows up the
field on your End Phase, leaving you WIDE open next
turn. Not exactly a smart play. That ranks up there
with such follies as not activating a Pulling the
Rug against a Raiza that would have saved the game,
or setting off firecrackers in a hotel that you're
attending a major tournament in.
Despite the extra support, Dinosaurs still blow.
Which means this card still blows.

All right, for today, just replace anytime I said "A
Legendary Ocean"
yesterday with "Jurassic World" today, and we're
good. Well, not quite. Dinosaur decks are finally
nearing a time where they have an incredible amount
of potential, yet; this card isn't going to help
them win anything anytime soon.
Like yesterday's card, Destroyersaurus allows you to
add a certain Field Magic card to your Hand from
your Deck by sending itself to the Graveyard. In
this case, we're talking about "Jurassic World"
which in short, is crap.
If you're smart enough to use a Dinosaur Deck, you
are smart enough NOT to use Destroyersaurus. Outside
of the effect, he is a decent card, with 1800 attack
and 1100 defense, but you can probably get by just
find without him.

1.75/5 all around, even in a dedicated Dino Deck

Destroyersaurus :
Is it just me or is the place on Jurassic World
straight out of The Land Before Time? The safe place
at the end?
Like yesterday's card, in a deck that wants Jurassic
World out there is no reason not to run this card.
However, the slightly lower attack and lower utility
of Jurassic World bring this card down in
comparison.
It's not bad, but I don't know how much Dinosaur
decks would want Jurassic World in play. 300 ATK
isn't that much.

A nice attempt to give dino's some edge. The only
problem being that dino's still lack viable spell
support. Jurassic World does absolutely nothing
special. The card is well built, but the theme is
still dead.
2/5 as a result of no other support |

Destroyersaurus
Let me just preface this review by saying that
Destroyersaurus looks HAWT as an Ultimate Rare.
Sadly, that's pretty much all it has going for it.
Dinosaurs as a whole are not a competitive deck,
despite how cool Yu-Gi-Oh GX! makes them look. The
best monsters are all two-tributes, and are nothing
more than giant beatsticks.
Having said that, a number of other Dinosaurs have
been teched into various decks, simply because of
their effects. Hydrogeddon and Hyper Hammerhead both
offer advantages to their user, and can often aid an
Aggro based deck in pushing through damage.
None of this justifies running Jurassic World
though, which makes Destroyersaurus rather useless.
It is true that Hydrogeddon becomes a 1900 ATK
monster, but then what it can't kill with 1600 ATK,
can't be killed with 1900 ATK either. The only
exceptions I can think of would be Elemental Hero
Stratos and Legendary Jujitsu Master.
Black Stego and Dark Driceratops also get better
with the 300 ATK and 300 DEF boost of Jurassic
World, but that's hardly a compelling reason to run
the field spell.
If you love the Dino theme, and have no problem
running Jurassic World, then this card is for you.

Destroyersaurus
Level 4
Earth
[Dinosaur/Effect]
You can discard this card to the graveyard to add 1
"Jurassic World" from your Deck to your hand.
1800/1100
So another card that gets a field card. Jurassic
World is a Field Spell Card that gives Dinosaurs a
boost of 300 ATK and DEF. Now this makes
Destroyersaurus a 2100 with Jurassic World on the
field. So it can stand up to Cyber Dragon just like
other monsters like Warrior of Atlantis. Though this
card isn't really playable at all. With not many
good dinosaurs out there, this card isn't really a
viable on and won't really affect the metagame too
much. Yes it does add power to dinosaur decks, but
it really can't do much against the tier one decks
that are out there. It has potential if better
offensive dinosaurs are released (even though there
is Dark Tyranno) but Dinosaurs need strong
non-tribute monsters to make it work at all.
Dinosaurs have good defense already with Black Stego
which is really nice with Jurassic World to boost
the Defense but making it a 1500 ATK monster won't
do much.
Traditional: 1/5 - does nothing.
Advanced: 1/5 - Until better dinosaurs are released,
it will stay this way.

Destroyersaurus
Sorry for missing the COTD review yesterday. But
now, to the card of today. Or should i say past?
Destroyersaurus like many of the new cards in FOTB,
is one of the new cards designed to give more
support to decks that are undersupported, or that
run field spell cards. This bad boy, comes in at
1800 attack, which is impressive for todays
metagame. Its effect allows it to search for the
field card, jurrasic world, which beefs up dinosaurs
by 300 attack and def. Not too impressive, but could
be used to help get over some high attack monsters.
I dont see many uses for destroyersaurus other than
it is an 1800 attack dinosaur.
Searching for a field spell card that is close to
useless doesnt seem to good. Its a good start for
dino support, but they need alot more to get them
where they need to be. Overall, if you run
dinosaurs, this card could have been what you
needed, but probrably not.

Destroyersaurus-You can discard this card to the
Graveyard to add 1 "Jurassic World" from your
Deck to your hand.
This is
another one of the field searchers such as
Warrior of Atlantis, Elemental Hero Captain
Gold, and Gravekeeper’s Commandant. However,
unlike the previously stated searchers,
Destroyersaurus searches out a sub par field
spell for a sub par deck theme. The others
search out field spells that are important, and
in Commandant’s case, vital to their themes.
However, Destroyersaurus searches out Jurassic
World, which only serves as a minimal stat
booster. Its better used as a 1800 beater, but
if you need one of those just use 7 Colored
Fish.
Advanced- 1/5
Traditional-
1/5
This was
short, but not much to say.

Destroyersaurus
Yay! We get a new Dino after about a year! This guy
is only an 1800 ATK monster, the 2nd lowest out of
the new Field Spell Searchers. This guy shoulda been
1900 really, it only goes up to 2100 with Jurassic
World on the field. It does boost the deck by
quickly getting the field card that powers up all
Dino’s by 300 ATK and DEF. That means that
Hydrogeddon will be 1900 ATK, Sabersaurus will be
2200, Ultimate Tyranno will be 3300, some good
attacks. The problem with the deck as a whole though
is that it has to get it’s attacks in, it doesn’t
have many tricks to it other than simply attacking.
It does have an OTK-ish type of trick with Tyranno
Infinity. Using the card “Survival Instinct”, you
can remove all Dino’s from the graveyard from the
game and gain 400 LP’s for each one. This not only
loads you up for Dimension Fusion, but also Return
from the different dimension, and finally Tyranno
Infinity. Tyranno infinity is easily the best thing
Dino’s have going for them, and having out Jurassic
World helps them stay on the field long enough to
get a good foothold on the duel. Overall though,
Destroyersaurus is good for the deck, I’d include
the 3 you’re allowed for the speed and potential
attack it can have. Plus you can always just discard
it to get JW, then at some point later, remove them
all for Survival Instinct, then win with Infinity.
RATINGS:
Traditional: 1/5
Advanced: 4/5 in Dino decks obviously. I’d give it a
better rating if Dino decks were actually good at
all in the first place.
