Thursday:
E-Hero Wildedge
I just don't see this guy being as useful as the
designers intended.
A 2600 ATK Asura Priest can be useful, but if want
to play an effect like Asura Priest, I'd just play
the Asura in the first place. Wildedge can be good
coming out through Miracle Fusion, and can help take
back a field your opponent might have a couple of
Monarchs on.
Being that most competitive decks involving E-Heroes
either use them as part of an OTK (DDT), as tribute
fodder (Perfect Circle), or as tech against the
common trap lineup (Wildheart), I don't see this guy
making a huge splash any time soon -- no disrepsect
to the guy who actually Top 8'd a Regional with a
full-blown E-Hero deck.

Elemental Hero Wildedge...had they kept the trample
that Bladedge has, this guy would have been about
ten times better and worth playing.
However, attacking all of your opponent's monsters
is good, but odds are, you won't be attacking more
than one monster after you do that.
However, the optional effect is good, you may not
always want to destroy everything your opponent has
out.
Wildedge IS one of the better E-Hero fusions, but I
don't like them, and this guy isn't involved in
Diamond Dude Turbo.
Ratings:
2/5 even where it belongs, sorry E-Hero fans

EHero Wildedge :
I've always thought this guy had wings. I know it
isn't true, but have a glance at the card and see if
you agree.
Ignoring the fusioness for a moment, a monster tht
can clear the opponent's board is a nice sentiment.
Who cares if your opponent just destroys it when
it's already destroyed three monsters through
battle? This sort of immediate bonus is alright.
With the various methods to now summon him, he's an
interesting part of the EHero arsenal. However, he
does require Edgeman, which is a bit expensive for
most decks.

wildedge
5/5
This will
only be used in E-Hero decks. Outside of
Shining Flare Wingman this is the best E-Hero
fusion. The ability to mow through an opponents
field with a big attacker ends games. This is
the reason you run miracle fusion. High stats,
cool picture, killer effect. Makes me glad
people ignore E-Hero's as a viable deck type.

Elemental Hero Wildedge
Before Elemental Hero Stratos and Ocean came to
North America, Wildheart was unanimously considered
to be the best non-fusion Elemental Hero. He saw
play in Ratbox, Warrior Toolbox, and Bazoo Return
decks across the continent. It seems only fitting
then, that one of his Fusion Monsters be among the
best of the Elemental Hero lineup.
Just slightly less powerful then Elemental Hero
Shining Flare Wingman / Shining Phoenix Enforcer,
Elemental Hero Wildedge is a beast of a card. 2600
ATK kills pretty much everything except Dark
Magician of Chaos, and his effect negates any
advantage afforded by Scapegoat or Recruiter
monsters. If Wildedge had the same immunity to Traps
as Wildheart, then he would undoubtably be the most
broken Elemental Hero Fusion monster ever made.
His only weakness though, is that he is a Fusion
between Wildheart and Bladedge. Since no competitive
Elemental Hero deck would main Wildedge, this
necessitates the use of King of the Swamp or another
Fusion substitute, which means that Wildedge cannot
be summoned via Future Fusion. I suspect that if
Future Fusion were ever unrestricted, E-Hero decks
would then run the risk of main decking one Bladedge.
If you run Elemental Heroes with their Fusion
Monsters, then this guy is an auto-include.
--------------------------------
Traditional:
1/5 - I keep giving 1/5's for this format. Boring!
Advanced:
4/5 - As a rule of thumb, E-Hero Fusions are
non-competitive, but this guy is one of their best,
and deserves the recognition therein.

Today we look at an E-hero fusion. Don’t expect it
to be too long of a review.
EEN-EN035 Elemental Hero Wildedge
Warrior
EARTH/8 Stars
ATK 2600/DEF 2300
FUSION: “Elemental Hero Wildheart”+”Elemental Hero
Bladedge”
This card cannot be Special Summoned except by
Fusion Summon. This card can attack all monsters on
your opponent’s side of the field once each
So, it’s a fusion with an Asura Priest effect. I
wouldn’t bring out this fusion simply because I
would rather play this fusion parts.
E-hero wildheart is a solid monster. Immune to all
traps, and it works great with Rush Recklessly and
Shrink.
E-hero bladedge is a two tribute monster, but it’s a
2600 attacker with trample. I’d rather hit a goat
for 2600, then kill all the goats and not cause any
real damage. You’ll notice that Wildedge is 2600
attack as well. You don’t gain any attack power.
I suppose if you have a Miracle Fusion sitting in
your hand, and Wildedge is the only monster you can
get out with the above monsters in your GRAVE, then
I guess go ahead, otherwise no.
E-hero fusion based decks have never been
competitive. And if they were, this one wouldn’t be
my fusion of choice. Right now, people seem to play
E-hero Stratos, Wildheart, and maybe Ocean, and
that’s about it, plus some D-heros.
