Shadow Delver
This card is
treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the
field or in the Graveyard. While this card is
face-up on the field, you can Normal Summon it to
have it be treated as an Effect Monster with this
effect:
●Once per turn, you can select 1 face-up Level 4 or
lower DARK monster you control. It can attack your
opponent directly this turn.

Shadow Delver is an interesting monster, despite
being a Gemini. He is also a Fiend, and Level 4, who
also, guess what, has 1500 attack points. You
obviously still need a second summon to get the
effect, which isn't terrible.
Once per turn, you can select a Level 4 or lower
Dark monster you control and have the selected
monster attack your opponent directly.
There are plenty of Fiends and Zombies that fit this
category, a good one would be Spirit Reaper.
You might want to give it a try if you had the room,
but the biggest drawback here isn't actually being a
Gemini, it's the subpar 1500 attack.
Ratings:
1/5 Traditional
2/5 Advanced, at least for (marginal) potential

Shadow Delver
I'm personally not a huge fan of the Gemini cards,
though they certainly do have their uses. Shadow
Delver is a monster that about borders mediocrity.
It's ability lets Don Zaloog slip on through, though
if you're going to use it correctly, it's going to
be in a deck utilizing equips and Mystic Tomato. If
you can Mystic it to the field, then summon it
during your turn, equip it with Axe or Mega, and
swing directly for 2500-3000 damages. It actually
makes for an interesting fun deck, though nothing
really competitive.
It's good in Traditional as Chaos food, but I don't
see too much use beyond that. Great for a Chaos deck
featuring Tomato and Angel, but there are better
things out there.
In Advanced, I wouldn't touch this with a ten foot
pole. It's just not a competitive card, and unless
someone discovers an amazing combo with it, then
really it's not worthwhile. I would like to explore
the possibility of a Tomato/Shadow/Don Deck. It has
potential.

I don't know what happened with the last CotD's I
sent ya, but if there's a problem with anything just
let me know. |

Shadow Delver
Another Gemini monster that has potential. He has
1500 ATK and allows you to directly attack your
opponent with a level 4 or lower DARK monster. This
can be game breaking considering games are decided
by less. Right now he is not so good, but GLAS might
make him playable...
