Monday
All right, we're still reviewing
some left over cards from the new set, Phantom's
Darkness, and we open the week with Reincarnation
Extinction, one of the more interesting Trap cards
of the set.
Reincarnation Extinction is a
Continuous Trap, which all ready hurts the
playability of any card, especially a Trap with
things like a Divine Monarchy being so playable, and
the potential for a triple Jinzo Lockdown Deck
threat...all that aside, I actually like this card.
When a card (or cards) is (are)
returned to the Deck from the Graveyard, the card
(or cards) is (are) removed from play instead.
This card DOES have some
potential.
An even bigger problem than being a
Continuous Trap is that how many cards are played
that return things to your Deck?
Not very many.
Morevover, an even bigger problem being, if
you are removing a Monster (or Monsters), that could
be helping your opponent, or you I suppose.
As for now, this card stands as a bit too
situational for use.
Ratings:
Traditional:
1.5/5
Not entirely useless, constant removal could
slow down Chaos and OTK?
Advanced:
2/5
A couple of whack off the wall Decks might
capitalize off this.
