Closing the week, we look at
Batteryman Micro-Cell, who is about as good as
yesterday's card.Micro-Cell is a very appropriate name for a
Level 1 monster with 100 attack and defense.
So, when flipped, you can Special
Summon one Batteryman monster who is Level 4 or
lower from your Deck, other than Micro-Cell.When this card is destroyed by Battle, you
can Draw one card from your Deck.
We have a lot of cards and
monsters taking monsters out without them being
flipped, as this Format is very anti-flip, so to
speak.
It is never a good idea to have to rely on a flip
effect for anything.
Furthermore, if flipped, your
opponent could remove or destroy this monster with a
Magic or Trap card as opposed to attacking to
prevent you from Drawing a card.

Batteryman micro-cell is
perfect for batteryman except for one thing:...The
whole archetype sucks, and has no potential. For
monarch, it's a different story. If you set this
facedown, it gets blasted, and gets your second from
your deck. But, now it's replaced itself with
another card, making it a +1 and perfect monarch
food!

Common
Todayʼs card for review is Batteryman Micro Cell.
This card alone, would make me want to run the deck.
How often Do you get to see an effect that has two
key pluses in it? I cannot think of any other ones
off hand. So, you can another way to get Inferno
Reckless summoning off, and you net a draw as well.
I feel batteries are 2-3 cards off from being
semi-completive, but until they make more support,
just use the deck for casual play. I just cannot see
enough of combos and cards to get this deck to beat
all the big decks used nowadays.
