[Warrior/Fusion/Effect]
"Elemental Hero Neos" + "Rainbow Dragon" or "Rainbow Dark Dragon"
This card cannot be Special Summoned, except by Fusion Summon with the above Fusion Material Monsters. Once per turn, you can activate 1 of the following effects:
•Send 1 monster you control to the Graveyard to return all monsters your opponent controls to the Deck.
•Send 1 Spell or Trap Card you control to the Graveyard to return all Spell and Trap Cards your opponent controls to the Deck.
•Send 1 card from the top of your Deck to the Graveyard to return all cards in your opponent's Graveyard to the Deck.

Dark Paladin
Wednesday

Today we look at Rainbow Neos...a card I have some very mixed feelings about.

Rainbow Neos is a Fusion monster with 4500 attack points! That's more than Cyber End Dragon and ties with Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon.

Anyway, Rainbow Neos has three effects:

Send 1 monster you control to the Graveyard to return all monsters your opponent controls to the Deck.

This is definitely good, and 4500 Lifepoints (or more) could mean the game for you if you successfully strike your opponent.

Send 1 Magic or Trap Card you control to the Graveyard to return all Spell and Trap Cards your opponent controls to the Deck.

Obviously a great choice if your opponent has no Monsters on the Field, or they only have attack position monsters so you can still inflict lots of damage.

Send 1 card from the top of your Deck to the Graveyard to return all cards in your opponent's Graveyard to the Deck.

I don't really like this effect, as I don't know why you would like to return your opponent's resources, short of preventing a Dimension Fusion combo or something, but it could be devestating against the right Deck.

However, it should be pointed out that like most of the Neos Fusions, this monster does NOT return to the Fusion Deck at the end of the turn.

However, I believe there are better uses for either Rainbow Dragon, and Neos isn't really worth playing.

Ratings:

Traditional: 1.5/5 Ungodly powerful, but not worth it, and too slow.

Advanced: 3/5 A bit generous perhaps, but it is powerful, and can do some neat tricks.

General Zorpa Rainbow Neos

This is one of the next gen Neos Fusions that does NOT return to the fusion deck. Thank goodness, because getting these two cards together is almost as hard as trying to get a date in the central valley of California. You fuse Neos with a Rainbow Dragon, but they don't both have to be on the field. You DO have to use Rainbow Dragon and Neos though. However of you manage to get around the ridiculous summoning requirements as well as getting the effect off, you will likely win the game.

He has 3 effects. One, you send a monster to the grave to destroy all your opponent's monsters. Two, you send a card from your s/t zone to destroy all s/t cards your opponent controls. Three, you send the top card of your deck to the graveyard to send all cards in your opponent's graveyard to the top of the deck. Since most decks don't like getting their monster cards destroyed, their s/t cards destroyed and their graveyard sent packing, this i quite the anti meta beastie. Did I mention he has 4500 ATK points? I didn't? Oh, my bad. Actually a pretty good Neos Fusion that is what they should have been in the first place.

David "BobDole" Hoffman Rainbow Neos

Keeping up with our week of expensive cards, we have Rainbow Neos.

RNeos is actually another of my favorite from the new set. I'd really like to build a deck around this guy. He may be a fusion (And a difficult one at that), but his effect is well worth it. I'd venture to say that once on the field, he's one of - if not the - most powerful cards in the game.

- Now the obvious drawback to Neos is the condition of summoning. Neos, Rainbow Dragon or Rainbow Dark Dragon are all high level monsters which are dead draws outside of their respective decks. This is what makes him so difficult to really use effectively.

- The first effect is pretty dang good, though to be honest, you'll probably use this one the least. Considering that RNeos boasts 4500 ATK power (With if Megamorph'ed means a staggering 9000 ATK power), you're not going to have to worry about 90% of the monsters out there surviving the attack. This is superior to destroying monsters, since the deck is hardest place to fetch cards from.

- The second effect I see being most likely the dominant effect. This is basically saying "Make every spell or trap in your hand better than Harpies Feather Duster." This is going to absolutely dominate Burn.

- The third effect is just great. This is the best way to completely mess your opponant up late game. Granted it can help them by placing Heavy Storm or Dark Bribe back into their deck, but it also sends Treeborn Frog, any Raiza's or LaDD's right back into the starting place. A lot of the cards in an average deck are only really good when you have other resources to use with them. If you're topdecking or anything, this is going to hurt a lot. Before you didn't have to worry about Pot of Avarice being drawn, but now it's an absolutely dead card to you. Absolutely devastating.

Obviously the biggest defense against Neos is going to be Solemn Judgment, Horn of Heaven, Divine Wrath and pretty much anything that can stop him before he gains momentum. If you can get this guy out, and keep him out, it's almost certainly game over. Especially if you decide to run something like Big Bang Shot or Megamorph.

All in all, if you own this guy, then congrats to you. Try testing out some decks based around him, since sooner or later someone's going to learn how to get him out quickly and FTK/OTK their opponant. May as well have some experience before hand.

Remember, I rate fusion monsters on how effective they are once they hit the field.

The First Hokage Rainbow Neos

This guy can basically change the game around if you can manage to somehow get him out on the field. He's a fusion that requires E Hero Neos and Rainbow Dragon or Dark Rainbow Dragon. His effect is easy to understand He's a 4500 beatstick once he hits the field.

I am not exactly sure what I'd rate this guy. I have never been a huge fan of Fusion monsters since they aren't really that easy to get out since some of the main cards are banned. He's a Secret Rare and looks pretty and very shiny, but that's about all I can say. His effect can change the game around, but the odds of him hitting the field with the required cards are pretty slim. I do love the art though.

Master Tricks
Rainbow Neos
I will not speak too much about this card since it is a VERY difficult, complex Fusion monster to get out. There are many requirements to get this card out. This first step is getting Rainbow Dragon or Rainbow Dark Dragon out which is definitely a long difficult task to pull unless you have multiple dumping materials to send cards from your deck to the graveyard with. The 2nd thing is to have E-Hero Neos on the field which is slightly difficult since its Level 7 unless you use Fake Hero or Ancient Rules. The 3rd step is that you have to use Polymerization which is very annoying since Rainbow Neos doesn't have the special "Contact Fusion" ability which allows him to fuse with other monsters without Polymerization. If these tasks weren't that difficult, this card may not be that bad since its effects are absolutely magnificent and it boasts a crazy high 4500 ATK to match up with Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon. It's a nice card for a good collection in your binder/book, but proves difficult to make a deck out of.

pwii hi, today I had a dentist appointment. I hadn't been flossing, so my gums actually BLED. that hurt a lot. ok, todays card is rainbow neos.

ok, this isnt that good of a card. the nice thing is that you could splash this in a dark deck that runs rainbow dark dragon's side deck along with fusion cards. if you actually get it out, it's pretty good!

with over 4000 attack and 3000 def, this thing sure aint getting beat by battle. the best advice I have is try and get major advantage as soon as possible before he gets smashed.
