Snake Deity's Command is a simple card, that you
obviously play only in the Venom Deck. You show your
opponent a monster in your Hand with "Venom" in it,
and you can negate the activation of one of your
opponent's Magic cards and destroy it.
Ratings:
3/5 Venom

Snake Deity's Command
One of the bets themed cards created. Ever. You
negate a Spell and only for the cost of revealing a
Venom monster from your hand that your opponent will
likely see anyway next turn. Just one for one
negation. Only Magic Drain comes close, and that can
really backfire. The problem with this card is that
there aren't any Venom monsters worth playing! The
Deity is cool, but just not realisic and Vennominon
is pretty much the same. This mechanic was used in
Magic the Gathering in it's Lorwyn set and is in my
opinion one of the best mechanics ever created. It
forces you to play to a theme without sacrificing
speed or power. UDE, make cards like this for decks
that can actually use it!

Snake Deity's Command
Today we look at Snake Deity's Command from Tactical
Evolution. It's a counter trap card that can negate
1 spell card played by your opponent by showing them
a "Vennom" monster.
The whole Vennom concept was introduced in Tactical
Evolution, and it was a stall/burn type of a deck.
There's not enough support for the deck type, but
the deck type can still be fun regardless with
creatures like Vennominaga, which has to potential
to be an unstoppable force if she gets out. Anyways,
with this card, I find there are simply better
choices for negation unless you are playing the
whole Vennom deck concept, but even then, it only
negates a spell. Dark Bribe is superior as it
negates spells and traps. And the only real reason
you'd probably run Vennom is for the Snake Deity
anyways. I also really like the art.
In traditional, this card stands no chance nor does
the deck type. It's fun in casual play as it can
really annoying if you can lock your opponent down.
My ratings:

hi! this isnt pwii, ITS HIS EVIL TWIN WHO LOOKS
LIKE HIM, TYPES LIKE HIM, EVEN DRESSES LIKE
HIM!!!!! on to the review!
so finally the good card! snake deity's command
is awesome, as all you need is to show a venom
monster and you can negate a spell! i think that
___ 's idea of using a snake-burn with vemon
burn is confirmed with this. the big negator,
not fully taking the place of solemn judgement
or dark bribe, is awesome! the deck could really
soar (i think it did at a jump tourney or
something like that...) with venom swamp, snake,
boa, ECT. wow. even in a fun vemon deck this
should be in here just to frusterate your foe.
every deck that utilizes the venom monsters
has to use this.
5/5 vemon beatdown/fun or vemon burn
art. 4/5 now marty, dont move, I'm gonna get the
camera...

Snake Deity's Command
This card is made purposely for only Venom
Reptile Decks and only for those decks only.
This card in my opinion is a great Counter Trap
card for them as the cost is simply revealing a
Venom monster card in your hand. Keep in mind
that the Venominion, the KIng of Snakes or the
Deity cannot be revealed this way since Venom is
not in their card name. Unfortunately, there are
much better options this rare Counter Trap since
in the current metagame, the Counter Traps that
rule are Dark Bribe, Solemn Judgment, and Forced
Back. I recommend those cards I mentioned over
this card even in a Venom deck, but it's up to
you if you can't find any of the cards which I
just mentioned earlier. Not bad, but definitely
not good either.
Traditonal: 1/5 (It's dead
here)
Advanced: 1.5/5 (Even in Venom
Decks, it won't work as well as Solemn Judgment
or Dark Bribe)
