Froggy Forcefield...?  First, how do Frogs create a Forcefield?

Secondly, what's with the Frog's hatred of Frog the Jam? Maybe I'm just thinking too much about it.  Let's go over a chain real quick.  Froggy Forcefield -----> Blast Held by a Tribute -----> Mirror Force.

Meaning?  It means, Mirror Force, being the ultimate destructive Trap, while Blast Held by a Tribute came later, and is more difficult to trigger and Froggy Forcefield is even worse than that.  I don't see why you would use this, even if you were playing a Frog Deck, which sadly, I've never even seen used.

1/5 all

Art:  2/5  I hate when cards aren't good AND the picture isn't great.

Froggy Forcefield
Normal Trap Card
Activate when a face-up "Frog" monster you control, except "Frog the Jam", is selected as an attack target. Destroy all Attack Position monsters your opponent controls.

Well now we see the Mirror Force just for Frogs. Just like Justi-Break for Normal Monsters. This a good support card for frogs. There is a lot more support for them from the most recent sets. Being able to protect all frogs like Unifrog and Substitoad. There were control concerns with frog decks, but now it's okay with Froggy Forcefield. Also with the OTK variants with quickly getting T.A.D.P.O.L.E.s in the graveyard for Des Frog, get 3 of them on the field and use Des Croaking. Which can even help you more when you use Polymerization for D.3.S. Frog and then a quick De-Fusion for a game ending swipe. Though that combo is harder to pull off, the control you can have on the game with frogs are so much better. This card makes frogs be even more abusable, with so many effects that you have to tribute a frog monster, so many can just keep saying to everyone's favourite Treeborn Frog. Using Substitoad with Treeborn Frog to get out other monsters from the deck, but as long as you can get some T.A.D.P.O.L.E.s  in your graveyard via Foolish Burial or Next To Be Lost, you can be aggressive and be able to defend on the same turn. I really like this card because another decktype can be played in this all about Gladiator Beast, Dark Armed Dragon Decks and Fairy/Lightsworn Decks out there.

Traditional: 1/5, I don't like frogs here. Too many other decks are more important.
Advanced: 2.5/5, Frogs, I can see being really good with the right cards and the right support. This card can make the deck work even better.

Froggy Forcefield (Which I initially typed as Jammer - which sounds pretty cool) is a card that I have mixed feelings over. You see, in a Frog deck, you shouldn't have too much difficulty getting a Frog monster on your side of the field. In all honesty, getting your opponent to make this more than a 1-1 is probably the most difficult thing.

However, with DaD decks specializing in killing your quickly - which means attacking fast and with a lot of monsters - you actually have a shot with this. Unless DaD actually hits the field. If you're not dead the turn he hits, then yes this is great, however if you have this set and he hits, say bye bye to your frogs and your life points.

I do like that you can run it in triplicate, and that it's easy to get a hold of. Maybe if they came out with some ridiculously powerful Frog cards this would spike in popularity. Until then, this is pretty much made for the trade binder.

Traditional: 2/5 Since Frogs hardly stand a chance here
Advanced: 2/5 Since Frogs hardly stand... you get the idea.
