Opening the week, we come to Solar
Recharge, an incredibly simple Magic card. You discard one Lightsworn monster from your
Hand, which allows you to Draw two cards. Then, you discard the top two cards of your
Deck to the Graveyard.
So, this technically ends up being
a +1 for the Hand, but a -1 overall.
The
Magic card (-1), Drawing two cards, (+1), and
discarding two from the Deck (-1).
Honestly, why couldn't they get a
Draw card like Destiny Draw, that is a support
related Draw card.Still not that bad however.

Solar Recharge
Here we have one of the most powerful support cards
for the Lightsworn theme.
Support cards are supposed to require a specific
theme, and reward the player for playing with said
theme by doing something non-themed cards can't do
as well. You need Lightsworns in the Graveyard
for Judgment Dragon -- this lets you pitch one for
an even 2:2 trade. You get to pitch two more
cards from the deck as well, giving you a chance at
activating other effects in the process.
Simply put, Solar Recharge is to Lightsworn as
Destiny Draw is to D-Heroes. You'd be a fool
not to play three copies.

Well, this card is a no brainer. Most people will
say 3 of in a Lightsworn deck, but I find that 2 is
just as good if you can't get a hold of the 3rd one.
You discard a Lightsworn to draw 2 cards and discard
the top two of your deck. Combine this with Wulf,
Judgment Dragon and Lumina and you have an easy way
to Special Summon Lightsworns as well as sift
through your deck for that winning combo.
It really shouldn't be used outside of Lightsworn,
but in some odd variant of Twilight with more
Lightsworn (Dawn) then it might be useful, but
Allure of Darkness and Destiny Draw are much better
there.

I love cards that are simple. They always seem to
have the best effects.
Today's card is Solar Recharge, the big draw card
of the Lightsworn archtype. It seems that in order
to be considered a competitive deck, you have to
have your own draw card. Otherwise you're just not
quick enough to keep up.
Now between the two, I prefer Destiny Draw for the
sole reason that several Destiny Hero monsters
thrive purely in the grave (Disk Commander,
Malicious, Dasher). Whereas Lightsworn want the be
in grave for Judgment Dragon. In a competition of
price though, Solar Recharge is about half the cost.
It's fantastic in it's deck type. Use it if you
can. There's no reason three of these shouldn't be
in a Lightsworn deck. Just don't splash it randomly
with Ryko, like I know some of you will.

Right off the bat it is clear
this is the equivalent of Destiny Draw for
Lightsworns. What makes this care unique is that it
applies the similar tactics as each Lightsworn which
involves milling cards to the graveyard.
So just like all the other draw cards in our
metagame it is a 2 for 2, however if you are able to
mill a Wulf, Lightsworn Beast it’s a powerful plus
1.
This card is also very helpful in filling your
graveyard with 4 different Lightsworns to meet
Judgment Dragons summoning requirements.

This is pwii, I'm really sorry
about missing most of last week. REALLY sorry.
Anyway, todays card is solar recharge.
Apparently upper deck took a hint
and is making more d-draw spin offs. With this,
lightsworns get a ton better. Not much more to say.
