BE SURE TO READ MY REVIEWS FOR THE PREVIOUSLY
REVIEWED CARDS THIS WEEK...THEY ARE LATE, BUT UP
NOW! I'M SURE MY BLACK ROSE DRAGON REVIEW WILL PISS
PEOPLE OFF! Thank you...
All right, my reviews are late this week, and I
apoogize. I was quite busy doing some last minute
political calling and broadcasting in my area, but I
got back to doing these. Mark of the Rose is a very
interesting Equip Magic card, that is a whacked out
version of Snatch Steal.
In short, you have to remove a Plant Monster from
your Graveyard and then you control an opponent's
monster. However, their is NO Lifepoint gain for
your opponent, but they gain their monster back
during your End Phase.
However, during your own Standby Phase, you gain
control of the monster again. This card would be a
lot better if the removal of the Plant monster
wasn't in their, but for those of you playing
Plants, or have enough for this to work, go ahead.
Ratings:
No rating, you aren't going to be able to splash it
into a Deck with a few plants and hope it all works
out.

A lot of people are saying that this card is a Plant
version of Snatch Steal. This is simply not true. It
is nowhere near as good as Snacth was, but it is
still pretty good. You remove from play a Plant in
your graveyard in order to steal an opponent's
monster. Pretty good right? Well, kinda. As unlike
Snatch Steal, it goes back to your opponent at your
end phase, and then you get it back on your turn.
Pretty much it will be the major field clearer for
the Plant deck, as you can do massive swings with
Gigaplant, Lonefire Blossom and Tytannial, Princess
of Camelias. There is not much else to say about
this card, except for the fact that it is another 3
copies of Brain Control in a deck that can really
abuse it, which is soething that we always like to
see in our themed support to compete with
generically good cards.
Basically if you play plants, you will play at least
one copy of this card.

This sounds a lot llike Snatch Steal to me. It is,
but with a twist. Remove a plant monster from the
grave to gain control of your opponent's monster.
Taking an opponent's monster and using their effect
against them will surely put you in advantage. When
you end, you give that monster back to them. If it
lasts that long the opponent has a turn to get rid
of it before you take control of it permanently.
Plant decks get a boost with this card and by using
it with tribute or tuners, you won't have to worry
about your opponent getting their monster back.
