Dark Paladin
Thursday

Emergency Teleport is a very useful Quickplay Magic card for you Synchro players. It allows the user to Special Summon one Level 3 or lower Psychi monster from your Deck. That is a great ability there for two reasons.

First, it can be used defensively in a situation where you may be being attacked directly to protect yourself. Secondly, it can obviously used offensively to bring out your Psychic monster to Synchro Summon on your own turn.

If I were playing Synchros, I would definitely pack two of these.

Emergency Teleport

If you haven't been reading Metagame coverage recently, you need to.
If you don't have three copies of this card yet, get them!

Simply put, this is the be-all and end-all of Synchro Summoning right now, thanks to Krebons. Granted, it can have uses for any Psychic, but let's be realistic; it's main use is to throw out Krebons to combine with a 6-star monster for a big Synchro, or a 4-star one for Goyo Guardian. As if Synchroing wasn't enough of a reason itself, when you do that, the Krebons ends up in the Graveyard instead of getting removed. Teleport Dark Armed Dragon needs that Dark in the Graveyard, especially because these Teleports end up getting played early-game more often than not. It's the key piece of the deck for those explosive turns where the player ends up dropping DAD, a Synchro, and possibly enough other monsters to the field to win the game.

It's the best version of the Dark Armed Dragon deck to date, all made possible by this card.

General Zorpa Emergency Teleport

Here we have a true gem. You can get pretty much any Psychic monster worth it's salt and proceed to tribute it or Synchro summon with it. Usually used to bring out Krebons, it is actually great in a dedicated Psychic deck, using Psychic Snail, Krebons and PSychic Commander to Devastating Effect.

Of course, this is the card that makes Tele-Dad the beast that it is, allowing you to Special Summon a Tuner and Synchro Summon so easily it is a crime. One guy Summoned 3 Stardust Dragon on me with this card in one game. It will not win you the game on it's own, but it sure can help.

You can even use it as a stall card in a pinch, getting whatever Psychic you need and allowing you to thin your deck of a potentially useless card at the same time. All in all a very versatile Quickplay that allows you to do almost as many cool tricks as Enemy Controller does, except with Psychic monsters.

Todayʼs card up for review is Emergency Teleport. This card created vicious combos and is devastating in the hands of a skilled player. Go check out feature matches from the latest Shonen Jumps on metagame.com and you will see how sick this card is if your not aware of it. Besides easy synchro summoning, we now have a new way to get material to tribute monsters out as well. Only downside is that there is only I think 3 cards you can grab off this, but then again psychics are brand new to the game. I would love to see more support, and see a real psychic deck. You have to get 3 of this card. Synchro summoning seems to be the future of this game, and this card is the easiest way to synchro summon.

Emergency Teleport is easily one of he best chase foils from The Duelist Genesis. A playset of this card is a staple in the Teleport Dark Armed Dragon deck. Synchro Summoning is much easier thanks to this card and Krebons (A LV2 Psychic Tuner). This card combined with Caius the Shadow Monarch or Destiny Hero Malicious creates Stardust Dragon, Red Dragon Archfiend, Thought Ruler Archfiend or even Colossal Fight. Combined with Dark Grepher or Elemental Hero Stratos creates Goyo Guardian. It basically lets you turn the game around in one turn. About to get beat down by something big? Get Goyo Guardian and take it from them. Facing a wall of defense mode monsters? Get Red Dragon Archfiend. Just need to protect things from being destroyed? Get Stardust Dragon. Emergency Teleport combined with Krebons is what Polymerization wanted to be.

This along with Stardust Dragon is even useful in Traditional against decks like Empty Jar so you can have it out first turn and stop their Cyber Jar from activaing.

Today is Emergency Teleport, the card that is in 11 of 16 of the recent SJC decks. This card can do so many things. This can will pretty much be used with Krebons, unless if there are some actual Psychic decks. It is quick-play, so anytime you want to use it, your Krebons will right there when you need it. Just as long as you do not draw two or three Krebons in your starting hand.

This is the easy special summoning of a tuner monster in the game. Emergency Teleport will be there for a Synchro Summon, if not it can be used as a tribute for Caius. Its another way to finish of your opponent if they are very low on life. It goes the same for defense. You play it when your opponent's monster attacks and you save yourself some damage and get another Dark monster in the graveyard. Offense, defense, tribute, synchro, deck thinning, or a Dark monster in grave, Emergency Teleport pretty much covers all bases.
