Psuedo Space is a very interesting Field Magic card,
that might even be almost playable. There are some
unique cards in Yugioh that allow you to take
statistics or effects from other cards, as here, you
can remove a Field Magic card from your Graveyard
and then Psuedo Space takes that effect, but only
until the End Phase.
It's seems pretty meh-tacular to me, not necessarily
good or bad, just kinda there. The problems that
strike me are as such...first, you have to remove
the Field Magic card from play, and you would
probably rather recycle it than lose it forever.
Next, the effect only lasts until the End Phase.
Seems like it should last until the card is
destroyed, or until someone plays another Field
Magic card.

A new week and after
Shonen Jump weekend. Hope everyone at GenCon Indy
had fun. Todays card is Pseudo Space, a card with a
decent effect and unoriginal art. I know this
because I looked at my Rare Skyscraper and noticed
its the same art, just inverted or rather different
colors. Anyways, its got a pretty cool effect. Once
a turn you can remove a Field Spell in the Graveyard
to have it be treated as that card with the same
effects till the end of your turn. Since the cards
effect only lasts on your turn, only a few Field
Spells come in handy. Copying cards like Geartown to
make Gears a 1 Tribute if they are normally 2
Tributes is hand, same goes for A Legendary Ocean
too. Mausoleum of the Emperor is another you could
possibly use, even though there really isn't any
major decks that would use it. The card is decent
but not many field spells see play. Mainly Black
Garden and Ancient Forest are the only ones I see
actually seeing play, Geartown maybe but not as much
as Garden and Forest.
I am not entirely sure what the purpose of this
card is. Since Field Spells are generally bad, I'm
guessing a combo Field Spell card that requires
other Field Spells graved (through something like
Charge of the Light Brigade or Magical Merchant) is
even worse.

Pseudo Space
Welcome to the first week that we are reviewing ANPR
cards, and if your sneak peaks were anything like
the ones that I attended, then it should be a good
set indeed. The first card this week is Pseudo
Space, one of the TCG exclusives from the set. It is
a Field Spell, which has quickly proven to be better
than Continuous Spells due to the searchability with
Terraforming. The effect is that once per turn you
can remove from play a Field Spell in your graveyard
to have it gain the effect of that Spell until the
end of the turn.
This is a meh effect at best. I would rather use the
Mindriller Thingamajig in order to reuse Field
Spells and Terraforming to search it out. Since the
effect does go away at the end phase, it is
ridiculously underpowered as well. If it kept the
name, then it could be used in a Field Spell Toolbox
type deck to abuse all ofthe amazing Field Spells
that we currently have. The final verdict on this
thing is that it simply does not do enough to see
competitive play.
