Turbo Rocket is specifically required to Synchro
Summon Turbo Cannon, and Turbo Rocket is Level 2
Machine and Tuner-type monster, and Turbo Cannon is
only a Level 3 Synchro monster, so you do the math
there.
Turbo Cannon can destroy one face-up monster and
inflict damage to its controller equal to half it's
attack.
It's not as faulty as Turbo Rocket, but at the same
time, the not being destroyed by Battle ability
would be really nice to have...Turbo Cannon could be
a lot of fun, and could win you a game if used at
the right time, but it's probably most fun for
casual play only.

Turbo Cannon
This is the smallest Synchro in the game and it is a
doozy. He has 0ATK and 0 DEF on a level 3 Fire
Machine and you have to use Turbo Rocket to Synchro
it up. The stats are of course abysmal, but that
didn't stop Thousand Eyes Restrict to be one of the
top cards of all time.
The effect is that you can destroy a monster once
per turn and inflict damage to the owner equal to
half of that monsters ATK. This is a kind of Ring of
Destruction effect, and especially used against a
deck like Gladiator Beasts can be extremely
effective. However, it has no way to capitalize on
this effect, so you will be forced to protect it or
face massive repercussions.
The fact that you do have to defend it rather
vigorously is not what I want in a card. There are
better spells and traps that kill things without
having to be Synchro Summoned. It is not a bad card,
just that the game doe snot reward those who slow
roll the game right now.

Turbo Cannon ...
I ALMOST like this little guy ... First off - he
gets the award for the lowest level Synchro Monster
available ... (that i know of) ... but then he loses
points for having one of those "I can only be
Synchro'd with 1 stinkin Tuner" stipulations ...
The simplicity of his effect - destroy any 1 monster
on the field and inflict damage to its owner equal
to half of its ATK - is good stuff. But then with no
ATK of his very own, he really only functions best
when your opponent is basically ALREADY out-gunning
u ... A position u never actually want to be in. And
then if u succeed in destroying their monster, u
have to have a serious way of protecting him
afterwards, or he's gonna be run over like CRAZY
come next turn ... Hell, even Treeborn Frog could do
it.
Meh ... this one is almost a toss-up ... I like what
he does, but I just cant get past the specific tuner
need and zero ATK/DEF ... I might have been able to
live with one or the other ... but not both. He
falls JUST short of worthwhile.

Almost done with the
week, its Thursday! And today we're looking at the
first ever level 3 Synchro monster. Turbo Cannon is
one of Yusei's cards that he used in the anime to
get past one of the "Dark Signers" by tuning Turbo
Rocket and Turbo Booster if memory serves. It may
have no attack and defense, but its got one heck of
a good effect. Once a turn it can destroy a face-up
monster to inflict damage to its controller equal to
half its attack. Sure once a turn its not so
harmless, but in a lot of those stalling burn decks,
this may help speed up the burn process. This cards
also very easy to summon if you do as Yusei did to
get it out. Since you would normal summon Turbo
Rocket, you can Special Summon Turbo Booster from
your hand with no cost. Being easy to summon and
with the ability to do some decent damage, its a
pretty good card. Only drawback I'd say is having to
use Turbo Rocket to summon it, but then again I
think its effect is worth it, but only in its own
deck.
