Let the record show, the Super Bowl is incomplete, and I'm rooting for the Cardinals, although things don't look good...

Monday

Psychic Trigger is an interesting little Super Rare that opens the week.

Psychic Trigger is a Trap that allows you to Draw two cards...awesome...wait, nearly no card in Yugioh is that good, or that simple, the majority of them being on the Banned List, thankfully.

If your Lifepoints are lower than your opponent's, which is the biggest downside of this card, you can remove two of your Psychic monsters from your Graveyard from play. Then, you get to Draw two cards.

I have mixed feelings about Psychic Trigger. Odds are, if you have Psychic monsters in your Graveyard, you probably want or need them there for later, to Synchro Summon or something...at least not remove just to Draw two cards.

I mean, the "cost" required of just the two Psychic monsters in the Graveyard is easy enough, but the lower Lifepoint requirement does hinder the card some, but it's not terrible.

General Zorpa Psychic Trigger

Well, here we have another Psychic Draw Trap/ Except that this time instead of sending the Psychics back to the deck so that they can be Emergency Teleported, you remove them from play. Add in the fact that Psychic Overload is chainable and this is not and we just have an inferior card. This one might help if you need cards removed, which is entirely possible, but not as likely.

Psychic monsters generally want to be in the graveyard or in the deck or field, not removed form play. There is no real reason that I can see to play this card, even in a dedicated Psychic deck.

Super Rare

Todayʼs card up for review is Psychic Trigger. I love this card, and will give psychics some draw power. It will not be hard to get your life lower than your opponents, considering all your cards make u pay life. You pretty much need some sort of draw power to have your deck win at a competitive level. I see this as a nice start for the deck. Its hard to say how good psychics can be. They have a sick spell card coming out for it in the next set, and hopefully there is more support. But for the present, I would say use this card if you run a psychic theme deck.

Super Rare

Today's card is Psychic Trigger and it is like a Reckless Greed for Psychic monsters, but you don't need to skip your draw phases. You have to meet two requirements, but neither of them are hard at all. First your life points must be lower than your opponent's life points. With a deck of Psychic monsters this will be easy to meet, but in a TeleDAD not so much.

Remove two Psychic monsters and then you draw two cards. This card will see play only in a Psychic deck, but still there aren't that many great Psychic monster out yet to make a Psychic deck. Psychic Trigger is a great draw card for Psychics, but then again the deck still hasn't got its push yet.
