Dimensional Fissure continues our week, which is
sort of like Macro Cosmos, but exclusively for
Monster cards.
Dimensional Fissure is one of those cards that can
really hurt your opponent if you can manage to keep
it on the Field. Any monster that is sent to the
Graveyard, is instead removed from play, and that
hurts.
Dark Armed Dragon, Judgement Dragon, and others rely
on certain monsters being in the Graveyard, in order
to be Special Summoned. By keeping your opponent's
Graveyard empty of monsters, you can effectively
protect yourself.
I really enjoy this card, but it isn't an answer to
other things, like Synchro monsters, unfortunately,
but it is by no means a bad card.

Dimensional Fissure
One of the gems to come out of EOJ, it is a
continuous Spell card that removes from play any
card sent to the graveyard. WOW< that stops all
graveyard effects as well as limiting discards and
such. The card destroys all of the top decks right
now, but since it si a Continuous Spell, it is too
vulnerable to spell and trap destruction to really
support a deck by itself.
It can be comboed with D.D. Scout Plane and D.D.
Survivor to create invincible streams of monsters as
well as combo with Return From the Different
Dimension to swarm the field. Malicious, Necor
Gardna, Dark Armed Dragon and pretty much every card
out there that you would find in a standard Tele-DAD
deck is going to be put out by this card. That is
why everyone thinks that a good build of this will
win an SJC soon, as few people side-deck cards to
deal with it.
The clever Japanese have also found a new use for
Dimensional Fissure. Gladiator Beasts rarely send
monsters to the graveyard when they don't play
Elemental Hero Prisma, so Dimensional Fissure rarely
hurts them. Plus, it would not remove any spell or
trap cards, so Gladiator Beast Equeste is free to do
his thing and get back Gladiator Equip Spells and
Gladiator Beast War Chariot to further limit your
opponent's options.

Dimensional Fissure
Any monster sent to the Graveyard is removed from
play instead.
Todayʼs card is Dimensional Fissure. Decks based
around this and Macro Cosmos are one of my favorite
decks to play. It is so annoying to play against,
and if you can get your board set up, you pretty
much win. The deck does have problems getting their
combos, so its really inconsistent. But Fissure
itself, can be tossed into a lot of decks, not just
Macro.deck. I have seen this card in Gladiator
Beasts, and it rocks! You can basically throw this
into any deck that does care about having stuff in
the graveyard. I consider this a really good anti
meta tech. Factor your opponents graveyard out of
the duel, and things can be easier for you. Top meta
decks like Zombies, Teledad, and Lightsworn hate to
see this card. All 3 decks need their yard to win.
What more do you need to know haha?

Dimensional Fissure
Any monster sent to the Graveyard is removed from
play instead.
Dimensional Fissure will ruin pretty muchy most
decks except Gladiator Beasts. Any monster that gets
destroyed will be removed instead. No Sangan, Tomato
or any elemental searcher. This hurts TeleDAD decks
and Lightsworn because they need the grave for their
monsters. The spells and traps are fine because they
won't be seen in play again, unless if an opponent
is playing a Mask of Darkness.
D.D. Survivor will be the main offense and defense
in the deck. With something that comes back every
turn and able to attack without worrying what the
opponent has makes it a powerful force, but with the
other decks able to have draw cards and answers to
pretty much the front row or back row, it won't
survive long in this format. It does make the
opponent shuffle a little more because all their
monsters were together and if they see a lot of
monsters in their opening hand, it will be an easier
duel for sure.

Dimensional Fissure
This is a watered-down Macro Cosmos, but don't let
it fool you; it's still an absolutely amazing card
that can just wreak havoc on any deck that it comes
across. By only removing monsters from play (as
opposed to any card, like Macro Cosmos), you aren't
really limiting your choices as much. You can still
use what little Spell/Trap revival is left us, and
it combos well with Gren Maju da Eiza, one of my
personal favorite cards. It helps to screw over just
about any graveyard-based deck (see: Zombies), but
the main problem with this card lies in the fact
that it's a Continuous Spell, meaning that it's
vulnerable to any time of Spell/Trap removal or
negation techniques. It fits best in a Macro deck,
but with the limiting of Return from the Different
Dimension, has lost a lot of its luster. That
doesn't mean that it isn't a great card though.
