Moja, a cute little Beast type monster who is Level
1 and of the Earth attribute with 100 attack and 100
defense, and really cute, althought a bit scary
looking perhaps. Now, here we have a monster who
when destroyed by Battle you can add a Level 4 Beast
type monster from your Graveyard to your Hand.
Moja is junk, plain and simple. You only get the
effect if the card dies by Battle, which it most
likely will, but you can only choose a Level 4 Beast
monster, not even a Level 4 or below monster, and
the card chosen only comes to your Hand.
Even if I were playing Beasts, which isn't a
horrible Deck, I wouldn't be playing this...

Moja
Here we have a little guy that looks like he came
straight out of Digimon or was made by a Disney
developer on crack. He does do some pretty cool
things though. The only effect that he has is that
when destroyed in Battle, he gets you a level 4
Beast monster from your deck back to your hand. This
is fairly useful for getting Recue Cat to your hand
for decks like Gladiator Beasts who do not play
Summoner Monk in order to bring it out.
The best thing going for this card is the
interactions that it has with other cards. Beast
Striker, King of the Beasts, Rescue Cat and Pot of
Avarice make sure that you have an almost endless
supply of 2500 beaters. Basically you use Moja to
Special Summon King of the Beasts and to search out
Rescue Cat. You then use Rescue Cat to get more Moja
and maybe an X-Saber Airbellum. Beast Striker and
Pot of Avarice get Back Moja, and you have a
complicated web of searching, drawing and reuse.
I do not think that this is horribly competitive,
but can really be a great fun deck and awesome for
locals if you are into paying a lot for the King of
the Beasts.

Moja ...
this little guy ... Just something i like about him.
Those monsters that are just built to die ... Sangan
may always be the best of the bunch, but Moja can
bring a lot of fun to your game as well. Obviously -
he's for beast decks, as he lets u recover any level
4 or lower beast from your graveyard when killed in
battle ... but he shines most brightly in his OWN
deck. There have been several decent monsters that
rely on this stage 1 Moja's presence to validate,
but I think the deck can pull off a few tricks, and
some semi-original play mechanics. Coupled with the
2nd coming of Rescue Cat, the Moja deck has got
potential. ... and it all starts with this guy.

Oh. My God. Today we
review perhaps one of the coolest cards out there,
in my opinion of course. Moja, quite the interesting
card. When I was at my locals yesterday I ran this
in my RescueSynchro deck and it worked amazingly
well. Moja is a level 1 Beast-Type monster that adds
a level 4 Beast-Type monster from your Graveyard to
your hand. This means that its search able by Rescue
Cat and can retrieve Rescue Cat. One of the popular
combos I used it with was using Summoner Monk to get
Rescue Cat, summon Airbellum and Moja, tuned
Airbellum to Monk and Moja for a level 8. You can
also tune for Armory Arm since Moja with Airbellum
makes a level 4. This card, in my opinion, is a card
that could very well be a big thing for any
RescueSynchro deck, it got me out of jams on Sunday.
Trust me, running at least 1 of these in any deck
with Airbellums and Rescue Cats, you can not go
wrong.

Hey everyone. Please
excuse my absence as I've been having a hard time
getting on a computer. I was thinking about posting
an article to make it up but I make millions of
those on the message boards! Our card of the day is
the best card that we've got this year! I'm just
kidding but I like Moja due to it's ability to have
it's own deck based of getting "King of Beast" out.
In its deck it's a very important card. Alone or in
almost any other deck I don't think it will do so
well.

Moja…. Users of this
card will likely find themselves in an interesting
predicament, should its effect be used? Or use it to
summon King of the Beasts? Either way, this card can
mean the beginning of a big turn.
You can use Creature Swap in combo with Moja. Summon
it in attack mode, give it to your opponent, attack
over it and then search your deck for another beast.
This combo is not too unlikely even, as with beast
decks, you should also be using cards such as Nimble
Momongas and Giant Rats.
With the trap line up in decks these days, I would
be a bit hesitant to tribute this card for King of
Beasts, as if it gets Bottomless Trap Hole’d, you
would have wasted 2 cards (unless it was summoned
from the grave). The Creature Swap combo would
appear to be more versatile.

Today’s card up for
review is Moja. Support for forgotten types is
always appealing to me. What exactly can this guy
do? When killed by battle he can grab Rescue Cat,
King Tiger Wanghu, Thousand Needles(Yeah I just said
that), or even Bazoo The Soul Eater. The Beast type
could still use more support so it has a chance to
be playable though. The rulings on Green Baboon
certainly didn’t help the deck type out as well. In
this meta, your only card you want to grab off of it
would be Rescue Cat.
Now, outside of Moja’s effect, he serves another
purpose. King Of The Beasts basically relies on Moja
since Tribute summons aren’t doable anymore,
especially with King of The Beasts Tribute cost.
Overall, Moja will have potential, but I suggest you
wait for more support to get released before trying
to mess with it.
