Today’s card up for review is Allure Of Darkness. Simply put, this card is amazing and a staple in any deck that uses a good amount of dark monsters. I am failing to see a downside on a card that helps you dig through your deck for either answers, or help stabilize your hand. Short review, but what else can you say about it?

Allure of Darkness is the undesputed champion when it comes to drawing. It is a staple in all decks that have a suitable amount of Dark Monsters. Drawing two then breaking even may not sound much. (You play the card, draw two, then remove one) but it can set up masive otk's and thin your deck out. Be careful when using this card though as having no cards in you hand can lead to a huge slap in the face.

Parallel Fates Allure of Darkness…. One of the more popular cards in the current metagame. Everyone loves a draw-2 card. There isn’t really a draw back to Allure of Darkness, either your deck can, or it cannot run it due to the support of dark monsters in its line-up.

The fact that this card allows you to see 2 more cards before selecting a dark to remove provides the player with a huge advantage compared to Destiny Draw or Trade-In, as it would potentially provide you with more options.

One caution about using this card is that Trap Dustshoot and Crush Card Virus can be deadly. If revealed that your single dark monster target is sent out of your hand, you would lose your entire hand. However, this situation does not occur to often.

Speed is nice, and this card is all about speed.

Freeza Allure of Darkness ...

another look at a card we got a while back ... a spell, which is pretty much just as good as its always been.

One thing they never cease to try and limit in Yu-Gi-oh is the excessive draw engines that get abused. Pot of Greed? - Gone. Graceful Charity? - gone. But so long as we still have cards like Allure of Darkness that lets us take more cards from the top, outside of our draw phase? - they will continue to be played. And spell cards like this that combo with Dark Monsters - the best attribute in the game? - Yeah. Aint going out of style.
