Dark Paladin
Thursday

This closes our week, so I wish everyone a very happy 4th of July weekend :) Chaos End Master is a Light attributed Warrior-type monster, who is Level 3 with 1500 attack 1000 defense, not too shabby, and this monster is a Warrior and a Tuner.

Now, starting off, the real value of this card is that the monster is a Tuner, and even to a lesser extent, a Warrior, and the Light attribute doesn't hurt either. Level 3 Tuners are good, they can easily summon Level 7 Synchro monsters, so no complaint here.

As for the effect, when she, (yes she) destroys a monster by Battle, and sends it to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon a Level 5 or higher monster from your Deck with 1600 or less attack from your Deck.
Not a great effect, not terrible...at 1500 she probably isn't destroying a lot, and while there are targets to Special Summon, you probably aren't playing them.

Ratings:

Traditional: 2/5 Light, Warrior, you could do worse...
Advanced: 3/5 Light, Warrior, Tuner...again, you could do worse.

Today’s card up for review is Chaos End Master. It is hard to say how much potential this card has, being new and all. Right off the bat, I am wondering why we don’t have any splash able Level 9 synchro’s for. You could summon Destiny Hero Malicious through his effect and do some heavy damage. Outside of Malicious, you don’t have many cards you can summon through Master’s effect. The cards you can grab that is half decent is: Sphere Of Chaos, and Yubel. We will have to wait and see what other cards are released in the future to see how good this card can really be.

Chaos End Master ...

An awesome looking Secret Rare ... but does he DO anything? ...

Well, first off - his stats are dead solid. 1500 ATK renders him absolutely searchable by anything that likes to search. Light - the 2nd best attribute in the game, makes him nice fuel for the Chaos Sorcerer, allows Honest to help him kick @s$, or whatever. Being a warrior? Its one of the best things ... if not THEE best thing u can be in this game. And putting all that on a Level 3 monster, allows him some versatility that the level 4's done have. Wonderful stats.

So then his effect ... When he kills something in battle, u can special summon a level 5 or higher monster with 1600 ATK or lower from your deck ... Well, it's different ... different in a sense that - what on earth am i gonna do with THIS? - Well, i've got 3 words for u - Malicious Yubel Cannon ... Destiny Hero Malicious, Yubel, and Satelite Cannon are 3 cards that are high enough level that u'd never want to have to normal summon them if u can avoid it, yet low enough attack that u would also ... never want to have to normal summon them. Those are the immediate targets that come to mind ... along with the Chaos Sphere that was released in Raging Battle.

And the fact that he's a Tuner means that any level 5 u grab allows for an immediate synchro summon for a big level 8 which is nice ... But there easier and more reliable methods of speeding up your Synchros if that is your ultimate goal, so u really would only play this card if u were running a deck that focussed on the strength of Lieutenant monsters (monsters with high level but only mid to low ATK). There is some fun to be had and cool points to be scored for using him, but he's just not that effective just yet. He does however get points for potential, as they are certain to only release more and more lieutenant monsters in this game, and his effectiveness will undoubtedly increase.

First of all I would like to hit myself on the head for missing Solemn Judgment's Review as that would have been one of my favs.. Now I'm stuck with this card named Chaos End Master who is a secret rare for what reason? I mean, sure it boosts the consistency of Yubel decks but who uses a Yubel deck competitively. Last time I checked you wouldn't want the first form on the feild for too long. I cab't think of any other decks that this card can be good in at the moment but I'm sure there will be one. Maybe in the future this card will prove its worth of being a secret rare or it might flunk like all the other janky secrets out there.

Parallel Fates Chaos-End Master…. This is fun card more than anything else. With the range of attack point manipulators in that game, Chaos-End Master is not hard to use at all. The only problem is what it can summon with its effect. The only worthy mentions are Malicious, Sphere of Chaos and Satellite Cannon, with the middle being the most likely choice.

The fun part about this card is that the special summoning occurs during battle-phase, so after destroying one of your opponent’s monsters, you can attack with your newly summoned monster, and then in your mainphase, you have the option of synching up into a level 8.

With just 1500 attack, without support, it does not last on the field. People using this card though, will likely find themselves playing some sort of light-control with Honests. Only then, can this card’s potential be realized.

The downfall to this card is that the support it requires is simply too much, as you’re committing End Master plus another card to destroy a single monster. Also, if you draw into your End Master targets, this card is rendered useless.
