Coming to the middle of the week, we have Stardust
Dragon--Assault Mode, who has 3000 attack and 2500
defense, and only a slightly different effect from
his non Assault Mode counterpart. While Stardust
Dragon can activate it's effect to a card that
destroy a card(s) on the Field, it's Assault Mode
can negate the effect of any Magic, Trap, or Effect
monster, and Special Summon itself during the End
Phase.
Honestly, I don't believe many of the Assault Mode
monsters are really worth using, as the marginal
attack increase, and the variable effect difference
doesn't usually warrant it on it's own. Here, you're
giving an incredible card more attack, and a
genuinely stronger effect. For those of you playing
Stardust, at least give his Assault Mode a look.

Stardust Dragon/Assault
Mode
This is the big daddy of Assault Mode monsters. He
is not technically from the set, but he came out in
the new Duelist tin that is showing up at hobby
stores and Targets all over the country.
He has 3000 ATK and 2500 DEF, making him an absolute
powerhouse. He is a WIND Dragon, but that didn't
stop the original Stardust one bit. His effect
allows you to tribute him to negate ANY effect of a
card and destroy it. AMAZING.
There are many different ways that you can get
around his effect, but they take a lot of cards to
do, and then after you do kill it, your opponent
still has a Stardust Dragon for you to deal with and
there is nothing to stop them from doing it all over
again with another Assault Mode Activate.
This is the card that you will base an Assault Mode
deck around, because the only way to kill it is
really in battle or by D.D. Crow and Gladiator Beast
Retiari when it is in the graveyard. I have actually
tried out the Assault Mode deck, and if you race to
Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode, you can really
dominate the game early as the first turn.

Today’s card up for review is Stardust Dragon
Assault Mode. All I can say about this card is WOW.
This card I can see basing a deck around. He is a
regular Stardust but on steroids pretty much. You
can pop him to an activation of a card, it doesn’t
even have to destroy something. Then he comes back
End Phase. He laughs at everything that the regular
Stardust couldn’t negate. If you are going to use up
card advantage to bring out an Assault Mode monster,
use this guy.

Finally, an Assault Mode monster that is not half
bad at all. With Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode there
is no need for a specific monster to Synchro Summon
a Stardust Dragon. This effect is great. Anytime a
card effect is activated, Stardust Dragon/Assault
Mode can tribute itself and negate and destroy the
card. Also it will come back after everytime you use
the effect.
With a great way to protect everything against
whatever your opponent has, the only other things to
worry about are Divine Wrath, D.D. Crow and bigger
monsters. When it is destroyed, you can revive a
Stardust Dragon back from your graveyard. Just like
the other Assault Mode monsters, you'll be getting
back that Synchro monster. This is the top Assault
Mode monster and the only one that could see any
play.

Stardust Dragon – Assault Mode …
Ok this guy is Bad! … and I mean “bad” like the
old-school meaning of “bad” - as in “good’! Stardust
Dragon – Assault Mode is one BAAAAD Mamma-jamma!
ATK and DEF – we already know all the Assault Modes
have this in spades, so let’s not even sweat that.
Let’s talk effect. What Stardust Dragon did, his
Assault Mode takes to a sick new level. By tributing
Star-DAM (I’m coining a phrase here folks … tell
your friends …), you can negate the activation of
any spell, trap, or effect monster and destroy it.
I’m thinking the only thing that this rules out is
Counter Traps, since they’re too fast … but anything
else? – boom! …and then Star-DAM comes back for
more. Sweet!
His only downside is the general difficulty of
getting these Assault Modes to the field … but with
the relative ease of getting the 1st component out –
Stardust Dragon synchro, Star-DAM is one of the
easier Assault Modes to make use of ... and believe
that your Opponent WILL be sweating bullets when u
do (if not fronting for the cameras).

Stardust
Dragon/Assault Mode
Alright, this card is actually one of my favorite
cards, even though its only a favorite cause it
looks cool. Anyways, of all the Assault Mode
monsters, this is by far the best one. Back during
the last format, this card would have been all over
the place, seeing as how Destiny Hero - Malicious
was running all over the place. It helped get an
easy Stardust Dragon out, all a player would have to
do then is set Assault Mode Activate and wait.
Now the card is harder to summon in some ways,
however there are also other ways to summon out
Stardust Dragon and still get this card out. When I
said this card is the best Assault Mode monster, its
because Stardust Dragon alone negates anything that
has the effect of destroying a card(s) on the field.
Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode has the effect to
negate the activation and the effect of any Spell,
Trap or Monster Effect and destroy the card and it
activates just like Stardust Dragon. It even has the
effect to summon back at the end phase. When
Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode is destroyed, you can
summon a Stardust Dragon from your Graveyard.
There are only a few ways to get around this card,
like D.D. Crow and a Monster Reborn after they've
tributed this card off. So I say this card has some
potential, having few weaknesses and still being
somewhat easier than the other Assault Modes to
summon.

This card is really really
good it has combos for the Assault Mode Deck
if you play it but will be really good with Tele DAD
build.I suggest picking up copy's at your local
Target before they sell out.

This will probably be played in a randam
machine deck at your local but it will not be played
competitively
I do not think because they can not stop TeleDAD,Lightsworn,GladiatorBeast
etc...
