Gemini Spark
Sorry for the delay in reviewing guys, I have been
busy creating some new and exciting ideas for you,
some of which I am gonna unleash in an article to be
written sometime soon.
Anyway, today's card is Gemini Spark. This is one of
the better Gemini support cards from SOVR, and
actually makes a deck using them almost viable. It
is a Quickplay Spell card, which is the best kind of
non-monster card that functions as both a Tpell and
a Trap.
The effect is that you Tribute a face-up level 4
Gemini and then select a card on the field. You then
destroy the selected card and then draw a card. This
type of removal/draw engine was already experimented
on with cards like Morphtronic Accelerator and Fish
Depth Charge, both of which are excellent cards, but
in the wrong card category.
Level 4 Geminis are the only ones that are worth
playiing in a cohesive deck anyway, as most of the
high level ones fit in with more archetype themed
support (Il Blud and Gigaplant come to mind). You
can combine this with cards like Birthright and get
a nice engine going as well.
Anyway, a beatdown deck using Geminis could very
well become a reality with so much good stuff being
thrown their way. I am onna play around with it and
all of the new stuff in the Structure deck and see
what I come up with, and you should too, and in any
deck like that, you will need this card. Good thing
it's a common.

Gemini Spark …
Icarus Attacks for Gemini Monsters … (why do people
always say things like that? … Always wanna call a
card by another card’s name, but with slight
variation … lol … ANYWAYS!)
So yeah, that’s basically what this card is, but
with … slight variation that makes it possibly even
better than Icarus Attacks. For one thing – it’s a
quick play spell, not a trap, meaning it doesn’t
have to be set 1st. You can activate it from your
hand on your turn if something doesn’t go your way,
and want to make something out of nothing … i.e. –
You summon your Gemini, your opponent uses
Bottomless Trap Hole, so u Gemini Spark it right off
the field and destroy one of their cards. They lost
their Bottomless, and maybe another card, and you
get to draw a card. … And that’s another difference.
Icarus lets u blow up 2 cards on field, while G
Spark lets u pop 1. But G Spark also lets u draw
another card, which I’m actually in favor of. In
both cases u are losing your monster anyway,
sacrificing field presence. But G Spark lets u add
to your hand as well, which helps even out the loss.
And lastly, Icarus requires there be 2 targets to
pop. With an uneven field, Icarus may wind up laying
there unused if the timing aint right. G Spark can
almost always get that 1 for 1.
Icarus is a good card. Gemini Spark is a better one.
Oh, and the picture is bad-ass!!

Gemini Spark doesn't
have much to it so this review will probably be
small, but its another Stardust Overdrive card that,
at least in my area is being hyped up for Gemini
decks. Tribute a face up level 4 Gemini you control.
Select and destroy a card on the field and draw 1
card. Simple and small effect. This cards very
similar to Morphtronic Accelerator and Fish Depth
Charge, Sacrificing a monster or returning one to
destroy a card then draw one. Honestly though Fish
have enough cards and so do Morphtronics. Gemini
decks needed support like this as well as stuff like
Supervis which we reviewed last week. Gemini decks
are really interesting right now, and im expecting
to see Gemini decks at the upcoming jump as im sure
people be interested in how the deck does. Gemini
Spark is something I see Gemini decks using as well
as Supervis.

Gemini Spark
Here we have, Gemini Spark , Today’s card of the
Day.
Tribute 1 face-up Level 4 Gemini Monster and
select 1 card on the field. Destroy the selected
card and draw 1 card.
Now this card is promising. This is a similar
version to the morphtronic card, Morphtronic
accelerator or icarus attack, since it is quick
play. They try to kill your monster or control it or
whatever and you can pop it and something else. This
card is best played in response to something your
opponent does because then at least they can take
the -1. Honestly this card has one big problem, most
of the level 4 geminis are mediocre. Do you really
want to play them to make this card work? The top
Gemini decks right now are gigavis and bludvis and
their main gemini’s are sixes. In a dedicated Gemini
deck this card is amazing, overall it would be even
better if you could tribute any level Gemini for the
effect. Oh well, another card that come close.

Here we have another
gemini card. Today we'll be reviewing gemini spark,
a solid quickplay spell card which lets you tribute
a level 4 gemini monster to blow up any card on the
field and draw 1. This card gives you an awesome
card advantage and is useful in a variety of
situations my favorite being when they try to attack
over your monster you can use this card to sacrafice
your monster then destroy their monster and get a
free draw. Run 3 in your gemini deck. While this
card is a pretty good card it is not extremly broken
and because of that it gets a ...
